Bangkok (Laem Chabang)
Bangkok (Laem Chabang)
Bangkok is the capital, largest urban area and primary city of Thailand. Known in Thai as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon meaning "city of angels" for short, it was a small trading post at the mouth of the Chao Phraya River during the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Bangkok is the economic center of Thailand, dominating the country's economy and dwarfing any other urban centers. Laem Chabang is a city in Chonburi Province, Thailand. It covers the tambon Bang Lamung of Bang Lamung district, and the complete tambon Bueng, Sura Sak, Thung Su Khla and parts of Nong Kham of Si Racha district.
Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City
Over a quarter of a century has passed since the Vietnam War ended in 1975 with the fall of Saigon. Today, the name of this bustling metropolis on the Mekong River is Ho Chi Minh City. Yet, the essence of the city, a major trading center since the 18th century, remains unchanged. The air is filled with the cries of street hawkers and honking horns. Swarms of motorbikes buzz down the crowded streets balancing every sort of cargo imaginable—from clinging families to coops of live chickens. And everywhere, friendly faces and warm greetings meet you.

Hong Kong is one of two special administrative regions (SARs) of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the other being Macau. A city-state situated on China's south coast and enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and South China Sea, it is renowned for its expansive skyline and deep natural harbour.
|13-14||At Sea - 2 days|
The second largest city in South Korea and the nation's primary seaport, Pusan is your gateway to a fascinating land whose culture is a unique amalgam of old and new. Modern high-rise towers dwarf ancient Buddhist temples, and the city's bustling business district offers a stark contrast to the serene grounds of Yongdusan Park. Pusan is, in short, a microcosm of South Korea, a nation whose startling economic success often obscures, to Westerners, one of Asia's most sophisticated and venerable cultures.
The streets are packed with people, cars and bicycles, weaving an extraordinary tapestry of humanity. Yet, serenity can always be found — be it a class practicing Tai Chi in a park or the peaceful repose of the city's fabled jade Buddha.

We stayed at the Ultimo Hotel in Sydney situated in China Town. The hotel in my opinion is not worthy of 4 star rating and not suitable for the older generation, it is more like a backpacker hostel. Coloured our view of Iglu cruises organisation. The Ship however was good we had a balcony cabin on the 15th deck which was ideally situated. We have cruise with Princess since 1997 and we feel that standards are not the same. The crew as a whole were excellent, as we expected. However the standard of food has deteriorated and this was echoed by all we spoke to. Also on board expenses have rocketed especially the excursions. For this reason we booked through Iglu cruises and were not disappointed. We stayed at the Waldorf Stadium Appartments Hotel in Auckland and were really pleased with the accommodation and location. Apart from the hotel at Sydney we had a memorable trip.Show more
