Customer reviews for Regent Seven Seas Mariner

We have just returned from a cruise on the Regent Mariner and must say it was perfect we could not fault a thing. Many thanks to your staff at Iglu for swift and efficient service especially Paul of the sales team we shall certainly look to Iglu for our cruise Mr and Mrs D Wilson Kent

The cruise was once again excellent it was our 5th cruise with the company, but because of the fire at Rome airport our return journey was disappointing. The original flight was cancelled so a delay of 4 hours was incurred. We believe the company and BA did try to ease the problem for example Regent took us on a coach ride around Rome but we still had 5 hours in terminal 3 with no seating or food because that was the area that suffered fire damage. It was unfortunate that our arrival at the airport could not have been delayed for at least 2 more hours as the situation was known Some passengers did feel abandoned. We went over 8 hours with no food. It was not a good finish

First time with RSSC and on Mariner and expectations were high considering the cost of their cruises. We felt the ship's decor was understated, if not bland and cheerless. Restaurants and Bars were excellent as were the staff serving in them. The standard of food and beverages was also excellent. The entertainment in the theatre was poor, with an accent on single musicians, which was disappointing for a wide variety of nationalities with catholic tastes. Although there were plenty of sun loungers on the pool deck and above, it was disappointing that Deck 6, which had loads of deck space, was not utilised at all. It would have provided guests with a shaded part of the ship to relax and enjoy fresh sea air, but, for some unknown reason, was left empty and unused. The greatest surprise and delight was the huge stateroom and shower room. They were easily the best we have experienced in almost 20 cruises with many cruise lines. Finally, unless there is a great deal on offer, I doubt we will sail with RSSC again, we simply could not justify the standard expenditure for what we would obtain in return.

Terms and Conditions

Prices are per person based on 2 guests sharing and include all-inclusive cruise, return economy flights (or Business Class flights to Europe in Penthouse Suites & above), transfers and 1-night pre-cruise hotel stay (B&B basis) in Concierge Suites and above. Air supplements may apply. Free unlimited shore excursions are capacity controlled, and on first-come first-served basis. Spa, internet, casino, laundry and telephone costs are not included in all-inclusive fare. Offers are open to new bookings only. All fares, flights, flight upgrades, free pre-cruise hotel package and excursions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at any time. 50% Single Supplements are valid on selected sailings only and capacity controlled, subject to availability. For this 3-night post-cruise package, 2 pieces of luggage are allowed. For any additional items, these will be securely stored in Lima, ready for you to collect when you check into the hotel on the last evening. It is recommended that you keep your valuable belongings in a hotel safe where possible. It is also advised that you don't leave any valuable belongings unattended at restaurants, on vehicles and/or during tours. Regent cannot be responsible or liable for any damage or loss. Train & flight times are subject to change. In line with the latest directives to help preserve the Historic Sanctuary at Machu Picchu, the local authorities have announced that certain key sites may only be visited during certain times. Your schedule enables you to only visit the 'Temple of the Sun', but as the other two sites are just a small part of the entire citadel, your overall experience will not be compromised.

All offers and prices are subject to change and availability at time of enquiry. Prices are based on two passengers sharing unless otherwise stated and are subject to the Tour Operator's terms and conditions. Cabin and Flight supplements may apply. Other supplements may apply in addition to the price shown above. Flight details, timings and routing may be subject to alteration. Other tour operator charges may also apply. Any Onboard Spending money or drinks package value shown will be per cabin, again based on two sharing.

Note: On 13 January 2018, new European legislation is being adopted in the UK which as result will mean that we may change our required method of payment at our discretion, irrespective of how any deposit or prior payment was made.
