Very friendly staff. Ship was clean and a good selection of food. Excursions were well organised. The ship docked straight into ports with no need for tender boats. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Koningsdam.

Although a little dated in places, Koningsdam is a lovely ship, easy to navigate around, staff who provide top service with a smile, excellent food at every outlet on board. However, other than seeing the best dance show I have ever seen on a cruise ship, the entertainment in the main theatre was sub standard imo, for example who wants to spend their evening going to watch the “origin of Holland America” - not me I’m afraid! Although the excursions that we went to in Alaska had good interesting content, the organisation at the meeting point ashore was a shambles and I could easily have missed going to two excursions of the three I booked if I hadn’t been alert!
