To ensure the safety of guests, crew and the communities visited, travel requirements may vary by port and country of departure. Further detail will be provided as available.
Onboard Health and Safety
Royal Caribbean have partnered with medical and scientific advisors from their Healthy Sail Panel, their Global Head of Public Health and Chief Medical Officer, and local health and government authorities to help them develop their onboard protocols. These measures will include reduced capacities, enhanced cleaning and sanitisation and physical distancing.
All guests age 18 years and older must have completed all doses of their COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before sailing. Guests younger than 18 years don't need to be vaccinated — but if they are, they can follow the testing guidance for fully vaccinated guests. Unvaccinated guests ages 12 to 17 years old, will need to arrange and take a PCR test for COVID-19 at their own expense no more than 72 hours before arriving in Cyprus. This test is required by the government of Cyprus to enter the country. Depending on the country of residence classification (e.g. green, amber or red), guests may require additional testing on arrival at the airport in Cyprus at their own expense. Please review your country’s entry requirements when travelling to Cyprus. All crew onboard Jewel of the Seas will be fully vaccinated. All guests aged 2 and older must take a complimentary rapid antigen test at the terminal in Limassol and receive a negative result in order to sail. We will email instructions on how to register in advance approximately 14-18 days before your cruise.
