Excellent service
Those who have flu-like symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has or is suspected to have COVID-19 will not be allowed to board. When preparing for boarding, all guests will have to go undergo health screening, including temperature checks. At embarkation terminals, frequently touched points will be continuously sanitised, and there will be sanitising- and fogging if possible- after each embarkation and debarkation.
The cruise line's already rigorous cleaning will be further enhanced with frequent cleaning of surfaces that are often touched such as chairs and fitness equipment. There will also be hand sanitiser throughout the ship, and in crew areas, to make hand washing easier.
With medical crew onboard who will be trained specially to deal with COVID-19, anyone who develops symptoms during their cruise will receive free screening and treatment.
Princess Cruises understand the impotance of social distancing, which is why there will be reduced capacity throughout their ships at venues and events. What's more, their innovative OceanMedallion technology will provide guests with a contactless experience onboard, from guests services to paying for items.
Crew safety is monitored throughout their cruise thanks to pre-embarkation testing and daily health checks.
With destinations being monitored to ensure that they are not high risk, smaller group sizes, and hygiene measures, Princess Cruises can make sure that guests are safe to disembark and explore at ports of call during their cruise.

Top quality cruise with 5 star restaurants, friendly crew and great itinerary. The entry to the “ special” restaurants and wines sent by courtesy of Iglu were much appreciated. The hotel and transfers organised by Iglu also were trouble free. There was occasional queuing for restaurants that could be improved.

Had a wonderful cruise recently through the Panama Canal. Just a couple of things that slightly spoilt the cruise. We have cruised before with Princess and have always been pleased with our experiences. This cruise changed the itinery at the last moment. It was advertised as calling into Antiuga. No we went to Jamaica, not a good visit. The original itinery was to call into Grand Turk but again was changed to Grand Cayman. This was okay and very enjoyable. It would have been nice to be informed of these changes beforehand. Another very disappointing thing for us was the dress code. Previously the timed dining has had a couple of formal evenings, this is still the case but some people didn't really try. Other evenings the dress code was billed as 'dress as you would to visit a fine restaurant at home'. Again the standards have dropped. Jeans and shorts with tee shirts is not what I call fine dining attire. More like dressing for a beach party. But the visits to Columbia, Panama and Costa Rica were wonderful.

Enjoyable cruise, service was very good, food too much fish, too little vegetables. For a few days some lifts and floors were suffering from very unpleasant odours. Entertainment was good with two very good shows, and other interesting and enjoyable acts.

The atrium areas are spectacular, but some other areas look a touch tired. The ship is however due for an imminent refit. Food very good. Main criticism is that there is a constant sales pitch for products and services and some on-shore excursions are too focussed on shopping opportunities to the detriment of seeing more places of interest.

We chose this as we wanted to go through the Panama Canal. We knew the ship would be smaller but it was old. However, it is going in for a much needed refit in march 2015. The food was excellent but we were disappointed with the 15% gratuities on the alcohol -which we hadnt expected. One thing to note is that there is no tea/coffee making facilities in the cabins on USA ships.
