I also suffer with multiple sclerosis and am making my second trip to the ffords on Iona and I know that I will be looked after by p&o with the greatest of care
Prior to cruising, guests must test negative to coronavirus and fill out a health questionnaire. At embarkation guests must wear face masks and have their health declaration reviewed, as well as have their temperature checked. Crew safety is also important to P&O Cruises and to keep everyone safe they will be required to follow guidance, have coronavirus tests and be trained in the latest procedures.
Restaurants will be adapted to enable social distancing, with other measures including pre-booked tables, no self-serve buffets and dining only allowed with the group you are travelling with. Onboard activities and entertainment will be available, but will also be adapted to ensure that social distancing can be maintained. Guests can link their booking to others to form a travelling group, but only up to the maximum group size as stated by the UK government.
Onboard cleaning protocols will be further enhanced using products proven to work against coronavirus, including in guest accommodation. In addition, more hand sanitiser and hand washing stations will be located across each ship.
Guests will still be able to explore each destination through shore excursions organised by P&O Cruises. This is to ensure that all excursions comply with onboard protocols and local guidance. It may also be required that guests undergo a temperature check before boarding.
Those who require supplementary oxygen, mechanical ventilation support apart from overnight CPAP for sleep apnoea, or dialysis will unfortunately no longer be able to sail with P&O due to industry procedures. Any guests who have COVID-19 symptoms (suspected or confirmed), been in contact with someone with COVID-19 symptoms (suspected or confirmed), or who has been asked to isolate by Track and Trace up to 14 days prior to embarkation will not be able to board.
Guests will be required to complete a guest locator form. This is to comply with the government test and trace initiative and will be used to alert guests should they have potentially come into contact with the virus during their cruise.

Why isn’t the ship doing a med or canary’s cruise in the summer instead of doing the Norwegian Fjords second summer running...I think this is a mistake by P&O!
