4 Bari
Bari
Corso Vittorio Emanuele divides Bari, a prominent seaport, into two different eras: the alleys and courtyards of Old Town and the thriving, modern city. Walk the Imperatore Augusto Promenade to the Basilica of St. Nicholas and browse the elegant shops of the Via Sparano for a taste of both worlds.

6 Taormina, Sicily
Taormina, Sicily
Taormina has remnants of its Greek and Roman habitation, a fine medieval quarter and castle ruins, and modern shops and restaurants. Perched on the side of Monte Tauro, the town offers fantastic views of the coast and Mt. Etna volcano. Below the town are excellent beaches where you can swim in the clear sea water.

Rome (Civitavecchia)
'The Eternal City' from unforgettable historical sights to exclusive designer shops, Rome really does have it all. Ensure you throw a coin into the Trevi fountain to make certain you'll return.

10 Portofino
Portofino
Portofino is considered by many yachtsmen to be the “world’s most beautiful small port.” From the sea, the entrance to town is a narrow waterway, usually crowded with yachts and sailboats. Tall cliffs rise steeply above the port, dotted with expensive villas and an imposing castle. Along the water, restaurants with outdoor tables and colorful umbrellas offer refuge to some of Europe’s wealthiest and most discerning pleasure-seekers.
AM PM
11 Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo
The fairy-tale kingdom of Monte Carlo glitters with opulence and jet-set glamour, and the action centres around its famed casinos. Inside, under gilt-edged ceilings and ornate frescoes, fortunes are made or lost. Elsewhere in Monaco are the Prince’s Palace, from which the Grimaldi dynasty has ruled since 1297; the Cathedral where Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier; and the Rock of Monaco, where gardens cascade to the sea.

We have booked with Oceania 3 times now, twice on the Sirena. Why we like this cruise line is the 5 star service, with no gimmicks like your photo being taken at every port, no hard selling of drinks and no black tie evenings. The dress code for the restaurants for dinner is smart casual no shorts or tracks suits allowed. We were quite surprised the 2 star review for the Sirena. The beds are extremely comfortable, food choice is excellent and although were not old and go to bed early people we like the fact the entertainment is not Las Vegas. Oceania offer a smart but relaxed atmosphere

Small ship cruising, very limited on entertainment. We didn't find they lived up to their 6star food claims. Buffet had limited choices, no ice cream after 4pm by swimming pool! MDR service was slow if on tab!es of more than 2 people, Food and service in Red Ginger was excellent, but not as good in Tuscan. Nice crew, nice passengers. Cabins ok, bed lovely. Itinerary was good. For us we would not go on this ship/line again, but I know some like the smaller ships and go to bed early so the poor entertainment is not an issue. Singles might like as they have a get together early on in the cruise. There were no cruise days so we could be out and about most of the time, which was the best thing about this cruise for us.
