I've been asked if I would like to be considered for an automatic upgrade. How does this work?

There are opportunities on certain sailings to make yourself available for an upgrade.

If you do request to be made available for an upgrade, there is a chance that the cruise line will move your reservation to a cabin of a higher grade than that, that you have booked. It's a great way of obtaining a complementary upgrade.

Upgrades are provided at the discretion of the cruise line. Once your booking has been modified by the cruise line, they will not be able to reinstate your original cabin.

Please consider carefully whether you wish to be considered for upgrade as you will have no further say in whether the cruise line retains your cabin for your use or the location of any higher graded cabin.

We would like to remind you also that cabins of a higher grade can on occasion, be located on lower decks.
