Canada Place is the perfect spot to start your adventures around Vancouver as it is where you’ll first step ashore from your cruise ship. Explore the pier, and be taken back by the outstanding architecture and views. At the end of the pier you’ll find the Flyover Canada attraction. From here, you can also use Canada Place as a transit hub to other places around Vancouver.

A popular national park located in Oaxaca, Huatulco National Park was established in 1998. A beautiful national park with crystal clear waters and lush greenery, it makes for a wonderful day out whilst in Huatulco.

Found in Puerto Chiapas, the Izapa Maya ruins is a pre-Columbian Mayan archaeological site with an abundance of history to be found. Wildlife thrives in the area that spans over 1.4 miles, including jaguar, deer and eagles, to name just a few.

The southern-most city in Mexico, Tapachula was founded by the Aztecs in 1486. It has since grown in culture, history and wealth, with the Soconusco Archaeological Museum presenting many major artefacts from over time, including a golden skull. The San Augustine church which was built in the 18th century is also a must-visit for insight into the culture of this vibrant city, as well as the Mexican festivals held throughout the year.

The deepest lake in Central America, Lake Atitlán is home to indigenous Mayan communities, with heritage of the tribe evident throughout lakeside towns, and opportunities to buy locally-made souvenirs and artwork.

Perhaps one of the most fascinating landmarks you could ever experience, the Mayan ruins of Tikal in Guatemala is one of the largest archaeological sites in the world. The temple stands at 47 metres high and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

A short journey from Puerto Quetzal lies the fascinating Filadelfia Coffee Plantation. A plantation farming coffee beans since the late 19th century, it comprises a plantation, a hotel and more. There’s even the opportunity to take a coffee tasting tour or zip line.

Learn more about the Costa Rican macaws at the captivating NATUWA Wildlife Sanctuary. Rescuing and rehabilitating these fascinating creatures, you’ll be able to get up close to them and discover what it takes to care for them.

Fun for all the family, the Parque Marino del Pacifico not only features an aquarium with an array of tropical fish, sharks, turtles and manta rays but a splash pool, playground and gift shop. Giving you a welcome break from the heat, this attraction is well worth a visit whilst in Puntarenas.

In the Cordillera de Tilarán, close to Juntas, lies the Curi Cancha Wildlife Refuge. A private wildlife sanctuary, it preserves cloud forest and is one kilometres or so before the renowned Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Home to a variety of wildlife and plant life, this reserve is an extraordinary attraction to visit whilst in Puntarenas.

The Miraflores Visitor Center provides fantastic insight into the history of the Panama Canal, through films, exhibitions and observation decks overlooking the Panama Canal locks. Visitors can join guided tours and enjoy delicious cuisine and souvenirs.

Whilst stopping off on the Panama Canal, if you have the time, a trip to Casco Viejo is well worth the effort. Within the historic district of the city, it’s a designated World Heritage Site which was built in the late 17th century. With stunning architecture, restaurants, shops and more, this picturesque area is frequently listed as one of the top things to do whilst in Panama.

If you’re looking for breathtaking views out towards the city, head to Ancon Hill. spanning 199 metres, this impressive hill is a popular site to visit whilst in the area of Ancon or Panama City.

Home to hundreds of different butterflies, this picturesque nature sanctuary is a must visit during your stop off in Oranjestad. Located within a tropical enclosure, this is the perfect activity to visit, whether you’re travelling as a couple, solo or with family.

If you like your history and like to learn about the past of the location you’re travelling around, a trip to the National Archaeological Museum Aruba should be on your list. Within its extensive collection, you can discover artefacts dating back to 2500 BC.

A beautiful park that’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing walk, a bike ride and to sightsee in the capital, Linear Park is a new park with lots of restaurants, bars and more along its trail. At certain times of the year, the main park plaza is also home to a variety of festivals, marathons and more.

This non-profit park area is the place to go for some tranquil downtime as you explore the serene waterfalls and pools that are home to brightly plumed flamingos. The gardens are also home to rescued wildlife such as other birds and reptiles as well as boasting some giant tree species.

Covering a 22-block area, this exciting part of downtown offers plenty to see and do from Garand Opera House, History Center, Art Museum and plenty of dining options and evening entertainment just a short distance from the cruise terminals.

A beautiful and historic house in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Bonnet House is included on the American National Register of Historic Places. It was built by prominent artist Frederic Clay Bartlett and has picturesque architecture and a botanical garden.
