Disney Cruise Line's ships all have everything you need for delicious meals from morning to evening. With three themed main dining restaurants, a casual venue, quick-service dining, 24-hour room service and snacks throughout the day, you'll never find yourself going hungry during your holiday. With so many options, you may be overwhelmed when it comes to choosing where to go, but here are a few favourite venues:
In addition, for the grown ups looking for a romantic place to have dinner, there are venues that cater exclusively for adults. At Palo you can try Northern Italian specialties with a contemporary twist, while Remy serves up some of the finest French dining at sea.
And, if you're on a Caribbean cruise stopping off at one of the Disney Cruise Line private islands (be that Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point), you can expect to enjoy authentic Bahamian food, flavourful Caribbean dishes, and beachside BBQ in restaurants like True-True BBQ, Serenity Bay BBQ, Reef and Wreck Bar, and more.
Offering a full list of entertainment options, including award-winning Broadway-style Disney shows, for both the young and the young at heart, there is something for everyone onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship.
As you would expect evening entertainment is vibrant, exciting, plentiful and provides the highest level of entertainment options for the whole family to enjoy. One of the highlights of a Disney cruise is meeting all your favourite characters! This could be classics such as Mickey and Minnie, and Toy Story or new franchises such as Avengers, Star Wars and Frozen. Whatever ages your kids (or any other members in your group), there’s guaranteed to be a meet and greet, and photo opportunities for everyone.
Live shows are also a highlight of evening entertainment. During your cruise you can enjoy musical extravaganzas such as the likes of Tangled: The Musical and Disney's Aladdin in one of the onboard theatres. For those who'd rather be on their feet, there are also lots of deck parties throughout the cruise, which are of course also attended by some of your favourite Disney characters!
Alternatively, if you'd rather just enjoy a drink (or two!) there are plenty of bars and lounges to choose from on each ship, so find your favourite spot to head to night after night or try somewhere different every evening:
That's not all, though; if you're on a Caribbean cruise stopping off at one of the exciting Disney Cruise Line private islands, you can also expect to enjoy some Disney-themed and Bahamian-inspired entertainment in the form of local art displays and exhibitions, Junkanoo parades, the Sun Beach Bash party (on Lookout Cay), a variety of sports, and more. You can also soak in the sun (and local culture) in places like the Play-Play Pavilion (on Lookout Cay), Pelican Plunge (on Castaway Cay), and more!
Younger children and infants can enjoy supervised activities in engaging spaces while teens can chill out in their own New York loft style club and enjoy cool activities including all the latest video games. No adults-allowed! Perfect for a cruise during the summer holidays or half term.
Disney 's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab features specially guided activities for children ages 3-4 years old.
Full of fun water slides, main pools and water park areas for the little ones, all the family will love the pool deck onboard Disney ships. Even better, while tucking into some ice cream and having a break on a lounger, the gang can enjoy a movie on the big screen!
In addition, the fantastic range of restaurants, including buffet venues with lots of choice, include hit dishes such as pizza and pasta, mean that mealtimes are as easy as you can imagine, with every member of the family guaranteed to find something that will satisfy their palate.
On top of all this, if you're on a Caribbean cruise to a Disney Cruise Line private island — be that Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point — you can expect to find fun for all the family on the stunning sandy beaches of the Bahamas. From character meet-and-greets to sports and beach parties, this is going to be an unmissable spot for everyone — younger guests included!
Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of itineraries and Disney cruise and stay holidays that take in the best of the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mediterranean and even Alaska. Check in process at Liverpool took ages, we missed our entertainment slot on the ship as we took that long to get through the arena. But once on, we could relax and enjoy our selves. We had awesome weather all through the trip.Safety procedures were very good, Disney did what they could with protocols in place, but all was still very enjoyable considering .Food was top class, cast members couldn’t do enough for you, loved it all and can’t wait to do it again.
They charge more but they deliver in every corner and everything nothing to complain evererything was delivered to a very high starnderd from cruise member to food entertainment beautiful when i read the review i had a confident that this is a nice cruise and my children will have good time i travelled with my husband and our two daughters 14 and 6 and they both had best time ever the you rotate the three dinning every night you go to different dinning with your server following you which was good as they know what we prefered and my children got used to them . The kids club was amazing well done Disney what a peace of mind while you are on holiday you don'n have to worry about your children while they were being looked after opened from 9am to midnight. my 14 years daughter enjoyed 14-17 youth club. It is worthy every penny with Disney. All the crew are very well trained. They were everywhere and every corner making sure every one is having fantastic stay. The Disney caractors were spending alot of time with the guest and the cue was not as long as that one in Disney parks . If i have to write about Disney magic cruise i will be here all night but i will assure you that it is worth every penny you pay . When we saw that Disney Magic have won the best ship in the world, as per Conte Naste travel magazine, my wife and I have decided to bring our daughter to a cruise. Simply excellent! The atmosphere is fantastic, the crew goes above and beyond to satisfy each and every customer and the entertainment is the number 1 in the world. Imagine having breakfast with Mickey Mouse or see Peter Pan flying on the stage or even fireworks at sea during the pirate night. I am so happy they will be back to the Med in 2013. Faith, trust and Pixie Dust!
