We've travelled twice on the Queen Elizabeth and just returned from our first cruise on Queen Victoria. It was in general a pleasant experience - the Britannia dining room seemed much better on Victoria - we didn't like the equivalent on Queen Elizabeth. We had booked three meals at the Verandah restaurant, but after one meal there we cancelled the other two. The wine prices were as ridiculous as ever and it was a good reason to cut back dramatically on drinking. I noticed at lunchtime in the Lido that there was practically no one ordering any paid-for drinks. We used the gym a lot on this cruise and the views from the running machine were excellent. Not so easy in bumpy seas, which we had on our trip back up the Portuguese coast. We went on one Cunard shore excursion in Valencia, and it was a good day out, getting to see a bit of Valencia and the lake and waterways south of Valencia which would be hard to find in just a day out on your own.

The ship, accommodation and service was brilliant. The decor was beautiful especially the theatre. We will definitely cruise with Cunard again.

Just wonderful, couldn't fault it. Just one small point, the pools could have been warmer. Once you were in they were warm but it felt a bit chilly getting in. Everything else was fantastic. 8 of our family , including 4 children ranging from 8 to 17 who loved the kids zone, can't wait to go again. Thanks Iglu and Cunard.

Wonderful cruise and all staff to be highly commended. All as we have become to expect from Cunard with one exception some of the shows were not quite as good as usual. Would give the magician, the mindreader and acrobat a miss and consentrate on comedians, singers and their excellent musical shows. However, such an excellent cruise, would not mark them down at all. Food was excellent and there was always something somewhere to suit all tastes. Our waiters Nicholas and Adrian were exceptional. Would also like to thank Iglu for their usual professional service - we will be using you yet again for our next cruise. Also Intercruise for their very good service and easy booking.

Our special food requirements were well catered for. However, the entertainment wasn't as good as other ships we have sailed on. Also, the internet charges were very expensive.

Cruise was good. Food & service very good. Main gripes: No Kettle in room for morning tea. Wine very expensive compered with top restaurants. One shore visit was a bit naff. Iglu booking was very good.

We took the Baltic cruise on june 5th 2014 on Queen Victoria. On boarding the ship we were instantly taken in by the feeling of being at home. The whole ship is set out to cater for every need. Not one to write a boring and long winded report on our 2 weeks but this is the best ship I have ever been on and there are 12 previous with different lines. Cunard set the standards that other companies struggle to match. I could not fault any aspect of the cruise or ports the ship visited. We are in our mid 40's and loved the whole Cunard experience. Dont be put off Cunard because the average age is high but enjoy a cruise with people that inspire you. My saying now is that if Cunard dont visit then I will never see it. They make you feel like royalty whoever you are. And then there are the beds and soft linen. All I can is say book one and find out.

Travelled April/May 2014. Wonderful ship beautifully appointed, service wonderful, activities poor. I travelled with my family - son 17, daughter 19, apart from 2 younger children my kids where the only minors on the whole ship! This company seem to me to cater for the elderly which of course is fine but the feel and activities on the ship reflect that. My wife and I where disappointed for the kids and to be honest if I had known this I would have chosen another company. If you are over 60 then this ship is perfect for you, you will have a wonderful time, if you are looking for a family holiday then please book elsewhere.

We have just returned from 13 nights aboard this beautiful ship, going from Southampton around the Mediterranean . The decor was amazing, The staff were so helpful and polite, everyone on board, from, stewards, waiters, or general staff walking about, always spoke to you. The itinerary was well worked out, lovely relaxing sea days, good shore ports, then some more days at sea. Our cabin was well arranged and had everything you could want. Room service delivered our early morning tea and coffee was nice. The food was so nice, even my husband a fussy eater, ate everything put in front of him.
