My wife and I sailed back to Southampton from Florida during March of this year. We thought the ship was very staid and traditional and it suited us admirably. We have previously taken our families cruising on other ships and do not think the Queen Vic would be the best choice for families that included children. We loved the formalities of the dining arrangements and the food was excellant. We found all the staff very helpful. We had a standard external cabin and found it very comfortable, spacious and convenient. We spent a long time at sea and found the onboard entertainment very good. We both play cards and I was able to play bridge and my wife whist. The resident singers and dancers were excellant. We enjoyed the cruise very much.

We went on the Baltic cruise to celebrate my retirement. We had a wonderful time; the memories will remain with me always. My husband really didn't think he would like cruising but now he's a huge fan! The service was outstanding as was the choice and quality of the food. We thoroughly enjoyed our excursions and the very professional organization. We chose to dine on a table for six and met wonderful people who we looked forward to discussing our day with each evening. Drinks before dinner in a superb variety of bars got every evening off to a great start then after dinner we went to the theatre to see fantastic shows. Some evenings we went to the ballroom afterwards or the nightclub or the pub for a nightcap. It was the best holiday of my life and I can't wait to do it again!

What a fabulous ship. We did the meditteranean in it and apart from a little bumpness on the way back it was very smooth. Outstanding service on this ship although we were Queen's Grill so only to be expected. Still service was fantastic. The ship is in pristine condition and has lots of facilities and things to do. So many that we missed half of them. My 6 yr old had a lot of fun, so much so that she hated to go to the Kid's club as she said it was boring. Would book a trip on QV again in a heartbeat, was actually looking on here for a bargain for 2010.

I was lucky enough to see the Queen Victoria while she was being launched in Southampton. Although we were'nt on the ship for more than a couple of days, the 'wow' factor is apparent the instant you step aboard. The public areas are amazing, with the 2 storey Queen's Ballroom being the pick of the bunch with it's stunning illuminations and great use of space. The theatre is also I think the grandest at sea. Certainly the only one with private boxes on a cruise ship. The service, as you can image from Cunard, couldn't be faulted, although as the staff were new to the ship things may have taken a little longer than they normally would. I only saw one of the balcony cabins which was spacious and as you'd expect from a new build, spotless and with modern facilities. All in all I should imagine many satisfied passengers will set sail on QV.
