Very nearly every element of the holiday was superb, the ship was utterly superb and the reliability of everything that was booked was also superb, can't fault Iglu or Celebrity at all.
I only have three comments and they are comments not complaints. The holiday taxis bookings from the hotel to the ship and from the ship to the airport are really at odds with the timings and incurred a substantial amount of waiting around, i think this should be looked at to improve the experience even more.
The day we stopped in Portofino, the tender process was terrible from Celebrity and this also needs to be looked into. We had a two hour wait to get on the tender and then when coming back they docked at a difference place so people had been queuing for an hour to come back then became the end of the line, not really acceptable.

Fabulous ship, crew and atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and helpful in all departments. Hoping to book again soon. Such attention to detail from first booking with Iglu in May to flight home to Heathrow was excellent. Only slight hiccup was two of our three taxi transfers were delayed but the third was excellent, the rep at Barcelona port could not have been more helpful.
Please add N/A to possible ratings of the above feedback. We didn't use the excursions so I had to put one star, but i've no idea how good or bad they are.

Amazing trip - Spain, France and Italy. Super ship Celebrity Edge, first time on this ship and really want to go again. All arrangements through Iglu Cruise was perfectly planned and executed. Miss everything about this holiday.
Our transfers to and from the airport and hotel were all pre-booked with Iglu as well as our flight and hotel stay. We were checked in and taken straight to our room around 11 ish (thank you Iglu for that arrangement - cant thank you enough). Great hotel in Barcelona right in the centre for our brief 1 night stay and we planned our day to get the best out of the stay. Beautiful city.
Check in for the cruise was fairly swift, left luggage with the porters and went through the security checks and controls and soon as we were on board we went to our muster point and then on to exploring the ship a little and having a bite to eat.
When we did arrive to our room later on was highly impressed with our veranda balcony room on the 7th floor midship and close to the elevators (thank you Iglu) was a really good and modern decor and plenty of storage. Love all the mood lighting and how you can control it from your phone app.
Our Room attendant Rocky was so nice and made everything perfect every day (twice). He did indicate what items were complimentary and what were chargeable. Pointed to a tote bag in the cupboard that was for but didn't tell me the umbrella which was a cheap branded one was not! Got charged $16 dollars for that after we checked out!! Not happy about that. We did have to use on a couple of occasions in Cannes and Florence. I think the refreshment items left out and in the minibar/fridge are really a waste of space in this day and age. Would prefer to use the fridge to keep things chilled and not for something I am not going to consume. I wonder what happens to the expensive crisps (will eventually go out of date). There are so many options on the ship for snacks and refreshments having this is unnecessary in my opinion.
Food was very nice but would usually check and pre order due to dietary requirements. I tried the Petit Chef and that was so unique loved it and went a second time. All the different themed inclusive restaurants are amazing.
Staff are the best. Really enjoyed the company of Pavitra and the Nigerian young lady who were serving us one night and we would see them occasionally for breakfast. Everyone is extremely helpful and accommodating I must say. From the chefs to the waiting staff to the front of house.
My best place on the ship was 'Eden' hands down, love the 3 story area and so relaxing and peaceful loved to escape their. loved the rooftop garden area too with screen for movie. the Magic carpet is a nice feature. only used the pool once so much to see and do, but all the facilities are great. Didnt get to book the spa but did have a Elemis skin tutorial which was excellent. I did use the gym once or twice which is big and looks out to sea.
Shore excursions were amazing some of them such as travelling to Rome or Florence time involved but still glad I went. Corsija (Cannes) and Cannes (Monte Carlo, Ezra) was my highlight. felt it was like a dream sometimes.
Shops on board Effy the jewellers, Cartier etc was so good loved all the jewelry!
Theatre shows were not to be missed everynight. would go the early 7.30 pm one and then straight to dinner reservation. were funny fun and intractive at times, they do an amazing job day in day out every week. Cabaret shows, Abba dancealong and singalong was fantastic and loved the jazz performances. The Silent disco was the best, never done that but thoroughly enjoyed. just nice to listen to.
Everyone from guest services to the Captain were memorable and not forgettng the cruise director, love to listen to his introduction before the show and his helpful tips at the end especially about the next port. Miss him and the all the staff i interacted with . Vishal from the Restaurant staff, who made the necessary amendments to all my dinner times to fit in with my evenings and his recommendations. They will be serving others week in week out but my memory of them will remain. Coming home was very sad and i was quite disorientated for a while, waking up thinking i am on the ship and which port am i in today.
Weather was a plus although we did have some bad weather which didnt last too long.
overall trip was the best i have had on cruises, all the destinations were amazing in the mediterranean. cant wait to book again. i am sure i have missed things off this review but all areas of the ship was great. although i did find the professional photos (keepsakes) were not to the standard of other ships i have been on. I did pay for a bunch of photos that are superimposed from the green screen, that was a waste of my money, the only photos that are excellent are the ones we asked to be taken without the green screen. I should have insisted on the other ones like that especially as i would be the one paying for them. This area was no perfect but besides that everything else 5 star. Thank you.
