So, it’s time to grab your sunscreen and head out on an incredible desert safari adventure with this exciting day tour. In the morning, you’ll have a chance to admire the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding scenery as you’re driven from your hotel to a secluded safari camp in the desert. Then, following a short welcome and the chance to refresh yourself with traditional drinks and snacks, you’ll embark on your exhilarating ‘Dune Bashing’ experience - a thrilling ride where an expert will navigate the shifting sands of the Dubai desert with slipping, sliding, and skidding all part of the fun. Upon your return to camp, you’ll have the chance to shake the sand out of your shoes and then be given the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the rich culture of the region; traditional attire, mehndi (henna tattooing), dramatic fire shows, dazzling belly-dancing, and shisha pipe smoking will all be available alongside a dinner buffet bursting with delicious dishes drawing on local flavours and cuisines. A service gratuity of between $18 - $23 per passenger, per day(depending on the cabin) will be automatically applied to each guest’s SeaPass® account on a daily basis for sailings.

Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Parking

Car parking at the port or airport for the duration of your trip is not included within the price of the cruise. The Celebrity Edge is a lovely ship, which is a nice size. Very well maintained. Staff were excellent in all areas. Food was very good. Speciality restaurants were exceptional.

Celebrity Edge - Auckland to Sydney. Absolutely loved this cruise and ship. Destinations beautiful and stunning, people so friendly and helpful. oved Eden, great theatre and entertainment. Fantastic food and AI drinks. All staff polite, considerate and knowledgeable. Brilliant entertainment director Giuseppe. Inside Cabin spacious, clean and facilities perfect. Iglu package marvellous - all flights, transfers and accommodation to a great standard and efficient. No issues.

Loved every minute of this cruise. New Zealand was beautiful and so varied. Australia was awesome. I would recommend this for anyone celebrating a special birthday as you won’t be disappointed. It really had the wow factor. The Celebrity Edge ship was modern, the staff couldn't do enough. I would definitely recommend Celebrity. They valued their customers and their staff.
