Day 1 of Land Tour – Vancouver
Fly to Vancouver where on arrival transfer to your hotel. This evening meet your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions.

Day 2 of Land Tour – Vancouver – Victoria (Vancouver Island)
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver, truly one of the world's most naturally beautiful cities. You will explore historic Gastown, Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood that was designated a National Historical Site in 2009. See Stanley Park and view the collection of totem poles and the views from Prospect Point. Later, you will take the ferry for the crossing to Victoria. Cross the Strait of Georgia to Swartz Bay. Continue to charming Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. There is an introductory sightseeing tour that takes you along the waterfront district, past the Parliament Buildings and Government Street.

Day 3 of Land Tour - Victoria Sightseeing and Free Time
This morning, first stop will be at the world famous Butchart Gardens. Breakfast will be at the Blue Poppy Restaurant where light pours in through skylights and the windows face the stunning gardens. There will be free time to wander around one of the world's greatest floral displays in the amazing 55 acres of flowers and show gardens. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the many delights Victoria has to offer. There will be a range of optional excursions to consider.(B)
Day 4 of Land Tour – Victoria – Whistler
Still on Vancouver Island discover Chemainus, a seaside community that is renowned for its Mural Project, a series of giant outdoor wall murals. Then, take the ferry across the Georgia Strait back to the mainland in Horseshoe Bay. Continue along the Sea-to-Sky Highway offering stunning scenic ocean vistas of Howe Sound, soaring mountains, dramatic waterfalls and bustling communities. There will be a stop at Shannon Falls Provincial Park to view the spectacular waterfalls, the third highest in British Columbia. Later, arrive in the quaint alpine village of Whistler, co-host to the 2010 Winter Olympics.(B)

Day 5 of Land Tour – Whistler
Spend a full day at leisure in Whistler, nestled between the breathtaking Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains. Explore the village at your own pace and relax at one of the many outdoor venues. Perhaps join an optional excursion, such as a ride aboard the Peak-to-Peak Gondola (cable car). Other activities include flightseeing over the lakes and glaciated peaks of Garibaldi Provincial Park.
Day 6 of Land Tour – Whistler – Sun Peaks
Your adventure continues along scenic Duffy Lake Road to get glimpses of Duffy and Seton Lakes via Lillooet, ‘Mile 0’ of the Gold Rush Route. Following the once treacherous Cariboo Wagon Trail arrive at Sun Peaks, one of British Columbia’s premier ski towns.

Day 7 of Land Tour – Sun Peaks - Jasper
Drive through white-fenced ranch lands and follow the Yellowhead Highway, you will see the snowcapped Columbia Mountains in the distance. Catch views of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies and arrive in Jasper, nestled inside Jasper National Park. A brief tour will give you an overview of the charm of this relaxed mountain resort.

Day 8 of Land Tour – Jasper National Park
Jasper National Park is the largest National Park in the Canadian Rockies. There is a full day to explore at your own pace. This really is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Again there will be a choice of exciting and interesting optional excursions to choose from such as a gentle float trip on the scenic Athabasca River, to a glacier hike on Mount Edith Cavell or a scenic cruise on Maligne Lake to iconic Spirit Island.
Day 9 of Land Tour – Jasper – Icefields Parkway – Lake Louise – Banff
The Rocky Mountains discovery continues as you travel along the world-renowned Icefields Parkway amidst stunning vistas of deep green forests, snow covered mountains, hanging glaciers and towering peaks. Sightseeing stops along this beautiful highway include Athabasca Falls, the Columbia Icefield, Bow and Peyto Lakes (weather dependent) and Crowfoot Glacier. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife such as bear or moose. Stop at the Columbia Icefield for a ride on a specially designed Ice Explorer vehicle, winding your way along the surface of the massive Athabasca Glacier. Learn about the Columbia Icefield, the power of glaciers and the early explorers who discovered them. Later there is a stop at the "Jewel of the Canadian Rockies", exquisite Lake Louise, offering quintessential Canadian Rockies scenery with its sparkling azure blue water lake, nestled at the base of the impressive Victoria Glacier. Continue along the scenic TransCanada Highway and arrive in Banff, inside Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 10 of Land Tour - Banff
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Banff that includes the sights of Bow Falls and Tunnel Mountain. Few towns in the world boast as beautiful a setting as Banff. The mighty Bow River courses right through town, while massive mountains rear up around the outskirts. The rest of the day is free for you discover Banff further. Why not take an optional gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain for stunning views of six mountain ranges and the village below or ride aboard a helicopter for one of the most epic adventures in the Canadian Rockies?
Day 11 of Land Tour – Banff – Kewlona
Today, drive across the Continental Divide at Kicking Horse Pass with a stop at the Spiral Tunnels, a feat of engineering for one of the steepest railroad stretches in the world. Afterwards continue through Yoho National Park and across Roger’s Pass in Glacier National Park. You will pass Mount Revelstone National Park and start winding your way down the mountains and entering the Okanagan Valley, known as Canada’s ‘fruit basket’. There is a stop at a local winery for a tour and tasting before arriving in Kewlona.

Day 12 of Land Tour – Kelowna - Vancouver
Make your way across the Cascade Mountains and through the Scenic Fraser River Valley to arrive back in Vancouver where your Canadian tour comes to an end. Depending on your itinerary either transfer to the port to embark an Alaska cruise or transfer to the aiport for your return to the UK.
