Celebrity Eclipse ReviewsView Cruise Deals
13 nt canaries cruise on Sept 2015. The ship was great, spotlessly clean, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food onboard was fabulous. The shows were excellent. All round good value for money and i would cruise with them again.
I did the Baltic cruise on eclipse in July. This was my first cruise and i went with some trepidation but this was unfounded and we had the most amazing holiday ever. We had an aqua class stateroom which was a good size with plenty of storage. The ship is upmarket, clean and far exceeded expectations. We ate 13 nights out of 14 in 'Blu' which was excellent and we certainly 'fine dined' every night. Carpaccio that melted on your tongue. Our Maitre'd really top of his game and our waiter couldn't do enough. Entertainment didn't live up to expectations but didn't spoil the holiday. Embarkation and disembarkation was excellent and so easy. The whole holiday really relaxing, distressful and felt thoroughly pampered. If you are looking for any of these elements in a holiday can thoroughly recommend this ship. Well done!
Scandinavia and st Petersburg, what a trip, this was my first cruise and I am in a wheelchair,i and my carer were treated like kings, the staff, waiters and all staff were so helpful in all ways. I've now booked a second trip to the Azores
Celebrity eclipse is a fine ship, built to a very holiday maker high standard. Having been on the ship 4 year's ago we are coming back for more. Fantastic.
Our first trip on a Celebrity ship! We have sampled cunard NCL, P&O a number of times so we could compare fairly. An excellent trip to the Baltic States. Great food, service and staff on the Eclipse. The buffets were superb and the meat supreme quality. Embarkation and Disembarkation went extremely smoothly too. We are now booked on the Celebrity Solstice for Australia and New Zealand next February
Brilliant ship very clean inside and out. Staff excellant made us feel very special. Shows very good, i would recommend this ship to all.
A beautiful ship, immaculately clean and with fantastic service. Boarding was very quick and efficient cabins were ready for occupation at 1300 and the cases were delivered within 40 minutes. We originally booked a 2D balcony cabin, was allocated a 2C which was very well placed, but we were offered an upgrade to Concierge at a cost of £300, which we took. The Scandanavia and Baltics itinerary was excellent, offering all new destinations for us and it exceeded all expectations.
Wonderful cruise on Celebrity Eclipse visiting the Baltic, only to be ruined when they lost my luggage on return to Southampton. I had to return home with no luggage. I will never let my luggage go out of my sight again. What a pity as the ship is lovely and the ports of call were really great.
Beautiful ship. Great food and staff. Having a lawn on the Upper deck was special! Entering the Geranger fiord at 5am and watching the skill of the Captain as he entered this beautiful and spectacular fiord was really memorable
Lovely ship, 2nd time onboard. Last cruise in the Caribbean in 2011. The refurb was completed prior to us boarding but there was little evidence of many changes other than a dining room for suite guests. One thing that I have noticed on my last 2 cruises with Celebrity is that the staff don't seem as happy as they used to! I did happen to complain about one member of staff from the Ice Bar who informed me when I said I didn't like the shiraz served - "you get what you pay for". At 11$ a glass on classic drinks package I don't see that this should be considered cheap. I was contacted by guest relations to say the staff had been spoken too but my time at that bar was soured. Food mostly good in the dining room, although it was rarely hot. Other than those few gripes a very good cruise. However, we do thing we need a change from Celebrity after 5 consecutive cruises.
