I was delighted to be on the first sailing across the channel to Le Havre, and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this fabulous ship. From the elegant dining rooms to the attentiveness of our stateroom attendant, you could not find fault anywhere. Cruised many times before with Cunard and Royal Caribbean but will make the Eclipse the first choice from now on.

The photos say it all, I hope, but they do not really do it justice. A bit of polish here and there needed perhaps for a 5* cruise ship. Like, for example, someone to guide us to our cabin would have been nice. No doubt this will come after a few more weeks. This was our second cruise on Celebrity and worth it especially with complimentary upgrade to Aqua class, the Persian Garden and Blu for Aqua class very nice!!

This was a fantastic ship and the service impeccable. It was my first cruise and if this is anything to go by, I can't wait for my second. Don't hesitate to get onboard this lovely lovely ship.

Have just been on a 4 night cruise to cork on celebrity Eclipse, I have been on P&O, CUNARD, PRINCESS to name just a few, and I have to say this ship is the best sailing, everything about this ship is 10/10 I am now booking a two week cruise on Eclipse. This ship is really a floating palace. The food, staff, rooms, entertainment, shops, restaurants, night life, indoor pool, outdoor pools & lots and lots to do! this ship is simply the best that is sailing today. If you have not booked yet on this ship I recommend you do so now! I will GUARANTEE you will not be disappointed 100% (or your money back) I would like to say a BIG thank you to Celebrity.... Thank you!!

(Staff Review) An amazing ship and an amazing time. I would recommend anyone to go on the Celebrity Eclipse. Everything on this ship is in fine detail, being an American ship they do everything bigger and better than anyone else and it really shows onboard. From the highly detailed design of the ship to the extensive friendliness of the staff your every need will definitely be catered for. They have a vast amount of cabins available from the Insides to the Suites. The Balcony Cabins were a great size for 2 and very spacious with a good sized balcony,go up to the suites and even more space is a definite. Large flat screen tvs and sofas in cabins, your cabin is a great place to relax before getting ready for dinner. Comfy double or twin beds to suite all are perfect for a good nights sleep. Nice sized shower in the bathroom will stop anyone from feeling claustrophobic. There is so much to do onboard with the array of bars and restaurants. The main dining restaurant is a breath taking sight, again every detail perfect. With a wide verity on the menus and tentative staff, dinner will be nothing but a pleasant start to your evening. Take a trip to the Ice Bar for some cocktails, with the bar being made of ice you will fall right into the atmosphere of the bar, then you can always go onto Michals bar for some piano playing and socialising. If your not looking for a quiet night onboard you can always go off the Quasar, Eclipses Night Club, with the music playing and a fun time atmosphere from everyone your bound to be in for a great night. Before the bars and clubs you can take a trip to the theatre where they have brilliant shows such as the Chinese Circe de solai, the most amazing show I have seen, you will be blown away by the entertainment staff who put their all into every performance. After dancing the night away you can find yourself chilling out in the Fantastic Aqua Spa ort the free Solarium, spend time in the hot tubs (inside and out) or take a dip in the indoors or outdoor pools, whatever they weather Eclipse makes sure your catered for. You will not want to leave this ship at the end of the cruise and I cannot wait for the next instalment of the Celebrity fleet.

Thank you ‘Iglu‘ we were on a winner when you suggested a cruise on the ‘Eclipse’ My partner and I have cruised many times on lovely ships and the ‘Eclipse’ is now one of them. The ship being new is immaculate from paint work to thick white fluffy towels. When boarding you are greeted with non stop smiles and champagne, the crew are wonderful as was the champagne. The food is first class we dined most nights in Moonlight Sonata but treated ourselves to an evening in one of the four speciality restaurants we choose ‘Murano’ This restaurant has European style food and is absolutely wonderful; I had venison cooked to my preference medium rare it melted in my mouth, my partner had Lobster tails cooked at the table and flambéed everyone was writing down the recipe to impress friends on their return. The Oceanview Café is brilliant everything you want to eat from am to pm. Look out for the selection of ice-creams I don’t normally eat them but could not resist a stroll round the deck licking away at my Cherry Brandy Ice-cream, playing games at the Lawn Club Deck 15

Best ship we've sailed on for ultimate luxury! The fitments were outstanding; more than just "wow". Touches like: champagne on arrival in our stateroom, thick white bathrobes, tea making facilities in cabin, regular canapés in stateroom (at no extra charge), full list of free films to watch on in cabin TV (not as sad as you may think, hubby was ill and confined to cabin). Martini bar with iced bar was amazing; the range of contemporary designed seating around the ship, poolside, in bars, on deck was all so upmarket. We really felt in the lap of luxury, it was difficult to take it all in in just 3 days. Sadly, my husband trapped his sciatic nerve on the first day and spent most of the time in cabin or in a wheelchair - however, this gave us an insight into the really well designed facilities for disabled people. There wasn't anywhere we couldn't get access to in the wheelchair and it was really quite easy to get around. Also, the medical staff were absolutely incredible in their attentiveness and their treatment for my husband; nothing was too much trouble whatever time of the night we called! We have never seen such amazing shows as on the Eclipse - it was better than going to the West End. That staging was fantastic. Now if only they could do something about the extortionate price of drinks they would certainly get our ongoing custom!

(Staff Review) Fantastic ship and service.  The ship is very luxurious and refined, and the cabins are nice and spacious.  I would recommend a cruise on this ship to anyone.

I was lucky enough to be on the Inaugural sailing from Southampton to Cork along with my partner. I am only allowed 1000 characters in this review which is a shame considering what a FANTASTIC experience we both had. If you want luxury, combined with SUPERB service, from the cleaning staff right through the management chain, then this is the cruise ship for you. If you want cleanliness, superb dining, absolutely magnificent (West End) entertainment, you wont be disappointed. Nothing is too much trouble. I have been in 5 star hotels that do not even reach the high standards on this lovely ship. I was on board 5 days and still did not discover everything. Every nook and cranny seems to have a lounge, comfortable seating, entertainment, attentive and friendly staff. If you want luxury then the Eclipse will not disappoint. - If only Celebrity was in charge of the weather!

(Staff Review) I attended the naming ceremony and thought the ship was absolutely amazing. I Stayed in a sky suite on deck 12, which was really spacious and comfortable with sparkling wine waiting for me on arrival and canapés delivered daily! Needless to say I felt very pampered. Really loved the diverse entertainment and bars - from the cool Martini bar and Quasar nightclub to traditional Michael's bar with its dark wood and piano music. It was sunny so really appreciated the lawn club - sitting out on the grass with a glass of wine watching the world go by. The food was excellent - particularly the filet mignon - melted in the mouth! Service was second to none.
