We booked a 5 night cruise only on the Carnival Victory through Planet Cruise. We booked this because we were in Miami and wanted a cruise that we could pick up from the Port of Miami. To be fair, we had been told it was a 'fun' ship and that few UK travellers would be onboard so we were rather worried what we would encounter. What we did find was that we loved it! The service, ship and crew were excellent. The only downside for me was the buffet restaurant but once we discovered that the waiter service restaurant also offered breakfast, lunch (free seating) and dinner (we had late sitting) then it was fine. The buffet restaurant was too much of a bun fight for me! The food was comparable to the food we had on Thomson cruises but the entertainment was nowhere near the standard you find on Thomson cruise ships. All in all we paid £900 for both of us for a 5 night cruise with a lovely balcony cabin. Excellent value and we would not hesitate to use carnival again!

I went on the Carnival Victory with my girlfriend, along with my best mate and his girl. The ship is beautiful and clean. The decor of the Victory is very trendy like a lot of good modern hotel. But don't expect the London Ritz, because it is not. The main theme of the ship is ocean of the world, and it was done brilliantly. Black Sea, Red Sea, Lonian Sea are some of the theme of various lounge find onboard this ship. Which are all cleverly done. There are two Dining Room named Atlantic and Pacific. The food was marvellous onboard the Carnival Victory and we will surely consider returning. As we had a great time.
