We had an amazing 9 days on board.
Good bits -
- the food is amazing in all the restaurants! We ate in them all and didn’t have a bad meal.
- there is always something to do, from shows, comedy, quiz, games to watching sport or just finding a corner and reading a book
The not so great bits-
-it’s very American focused, we noticed it most across the breakfast and entertainment which was all aimed at Americans.
- it was hard to get a seat in comedy clubs unless you got there early to queue (15 min queue max)
-the cruise trips were expensive. If you get off the boat and walk 2 mins you can get the same trip for a lot less!

Staff Review - Carnival Mardi Gras is an amazing ship with loads of things to do. We loved the different zones with all the different eateries offering different cuisines - highly recommend the Guy Fieri’s BBQ place. Even though it is a huge ship it never felt overcrowded. Our kids loved the Dr. Seuss themed kids club, with the Thing 1 & Thing 2 Birthday Breakfast being a huge hit.
