Jewel of the Seas

It's that time of week again as our Head of Commercial, Dave Mills, takes us through this week Top Ten Cruise Deals.

This week’s selection of mouth watering cruise deals kicks off with an exclusive offer on Black Watch from Fred Olsen at £799 pp. This cruise offers an unbeatable £45 per night; it’s a great value way of soaking up some last minute sunshine in the Canaries and Cape Verde from Southampton. To make the deal extra special upgrade to an oceanview for just £99 pp — or just over a fiver a night!

Next is a brand new explorer cruise from Voyages of Discovery. This is a new itinerary for the UK market and is a fly cruise, sailing from Sri Lanka to Singapore, South East Asia and Bangkok. Including overnight stays and dedicated talks in Colombo (where afternoon tea in the Galle Face Hotel is a must), Burma and Bangkok. This cruise will delight the senses, soul and palate alike. Including flights, prices start at £1349 pp, with singles also on special offer at £1689 pp.

P&O Cruises' Azura follows, with a 14 night Eastern Caribbean from Barbados — for an incredible £899 pp! You’ll fly directly to Barbados from either London or Manchester for two weeks of blissful Caribbean cruising. Oceanview staterooms start at £1099 pp, with balconies from £1199 pp. This is the lowest rate we’ve ever seen these two week Caribbean sailings!

Into the New Year, this next offer is an absolute luxury bargain on Cunard's Queen Elizabeth. This is a great way to hit the January sales in New York, as you sail from Southampton crossing the Atlantic to Fort Lauderdale, stopping off en route in the Big Apple. Including the return flight and transfers, inside cabins start from £799 pp. You can also add extra nights in Miami to extend your stay.

NCL Jade follows with another way to beat the January blues. This is a superb value Canary Isles sailing from Barcelona — nine nights from just £499 pp. NCL are a fun cruise line, which boast more dining options than any other cruise line. Onboard is a strictly relaxed affair, so this is a great way to unwind. The flights are based on London, though regional airports are available at a supplement. Book this one by the 18th November, for up to $150 free onboard spending money.

MSC Magnifica is next with a fantastic value nine night Holy Land sailing, starting from as little as £499 pp, departing in February. Sailing from Venice, this cruise includes overnight in Haifa and calls at Athens and Rhodes amongst others. This one also features no single supplement and — especially useful during school half term — reduced prices for children up to 18, from £329 pp. Flights and transfers are included.

A luxury ultimate Caribbean cruise comes next, on Celebrity Equinox. This is a superb varied Caribbean itinerary coupled with one of our most popular classes of ship. With its innovative design, including a real grass deck and a multitude of unique restaurants and bars, Celebrity are setting the standard for affordable luxury cruising. Balcony staterooms on this one start at £1659 pp — and for added value, Iglu will pay your onboard gratuities for you. Flights, transfers and overnight hotel in Fort Lauderdale included.

Next up is also something new, a Titanic memorial cruise marking 100 years since the legendary ship’s maiden voyage. Sailing from Tilbury the cruise calls at Cherbourg, where the port is putting on an elaborate Titanic Exhibition. The site of the RMS Lusitania follows at the head of Kinsale, then to Queenstown, the last port Titanic sailed from. Then to Belfast, where she was built, before Liverpool, where she was registered and where the White Star Line's offices still stand. Onboard, the Ocean Liner Society has planned a series of events and talks and each port of call will be including fascinating insights into events 100 years ago.

A Scandinavia & Russia voyage follows, onboard Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas. Sailing from Harwich and spending two days in St Petersburg, so you can explore the delights of this wonderful city in full. We can offer free parking at Harwich cruise port or coach transport from a local pick up point to you. And if that wasn't enough we can even give you $50 to spend onboard! We are offering all of this from just £1249 pp and with reduced child rates from just £869pp — what are you waiting for?

Last, but by no means least, we can offer you a brand new Transatlantic sailing from Southampton to the Bahamas and Miami onboard Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas. This sailing is hot off the press, as Royal Caribbean only announced that Independence would be sailing to the Caribbean next winter. From ice skating and onboard surf machine, to golf and rock climbing, there is something for everyone onboard Independence of the Seas.  We can offer you an amazing deal from just £799 pp, including $50 onboard spending money and return flights.
