As Iona gets ready to embark on her maiden voyage in 2021, P&O Cruises hasn't let the water settle. On 18th February 2021 the popular British cruise line announced that Arvia will be the latest ship to join the fleet, with construction having already started. When will Arvia begin sailing?

After being announced in February 2021, and the traditional steel cutting ceremony taking place in the same month, P&O Arvia is scheduled to set sail in December 2022.


When can I book a cruise onboard Arvia?

Where will Arvia sail?

Exact itineraries are yet to be released, but P&O Cruises has said that Arvia will be designed to sail to sunny destinations all year round. This means that no matter where you're voyaging, you'll be able to make the most of the fine weather both onboard and ashore.


How big will Arvia be?

P&O Arvia will weigh in at 184,700 tonnes. The exact guest capacity is not yet known, although she will be joining Iona as an Excel-Class ship which will be able to fit 5,200 cruisers onboard.
