Love this ship- its quite old but is perfectly kept and ultra clean, Bed & Bedding are superb. The staff are faultless, so cheery and they all seem to know your name from day 1- amazing! -- food is varied and always good, and they will be happy to do specials if possible. The drinks are equally good, all top shelf spirits and properly made cocktails that are delicious. The only negative is the bathrooms in the standard and balcony cabins are so small.

16 Jul 2025
The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Especially Joseph with our room, bartenders Brian, Reggie, Ketut, Aditya, Cedric, Glenn. Constance the sommelier and waiters Anderson, Karen, Parge, Amadeus and Chim. The entertainment was poor, with the exception of Tom on the piano. The cruise director and the entertainment team could have done more. Food was excellent, although sometimes dining was chaotic in the Discovery restaurant. White Nights were very good, but umbrellas were missing when it was so hot, with a lot of tables empty due to the lack of shade.

29 Jun 2025
Azamara crew are truly amazing. Level of service is top notch 10/10. The crew cannot do enough for you and we couldn’t fault it. Food to is absolutely 5 star and the whole cruise is casual, relaxed, small ship old fashioned cruising! No waiting for lifts, no queuing, no problem getting a subbed anytime and staff top up drinks before you have even finished them.
It certainly exceeded our expectations. The only negative is the eye wateringly expensive shore excursions which are 2-3 times the price of P&O. Some are $500 for a couple and you can easily spend £2,000 on trips! That is something Azamara need to address but then they are aiming for rich Americans so us Brits are not their target market. So they drop a point for that.
Would give the experience 9/10 though and would definitely book again and recommend.
