The entertainment onboard is just as sophisticated as you would expect from such an elegant ship. After an exquisite dinner, retire to the Show Lounge where live acts will showcase their world-class skills right before your eyes, including classical interludes performed by the resident pianist and violinist. Alternatively, quieter nights of playing cards or taking part in a quiz are both popular amongst guests.

Free time spent onboard Astoria is as varied as it is interesting. From guest speakers to a spa and gym, you can use your hours on the ship to both indulge yourself and enrich your holiday.

  • Guest Speakers- experts are invited to talk about their chosen subject, ranging from maritime history to criminology. These seminars tend to take place on sea days rather than port days so that nobody misses out.
  • An Audience With- a fun and light-hearted Q&A session where a guest speaker talks about their life
  • Arts and Crafts- spend your downtime learning a new skill at one of the various master classes led by specialists, such as calligraphy and mosaic decoration
  • Health and Beauty- with an onboard gym, a spa with steam room and sauna, hairdressers and pool, choose to sit back and be pampered or get active during your cruise.

Customer reviews for Astoria

Needs maintenance. Cracked and chipped mugs in buffet. Service with waiters in bar slow. Wine waiter in a dining Room invisible. Cabin carpet marked/ hole in carpet. Marks on bathroom floor. Bathroom flooded. Foreign Plummer that came was rude and blamed us for overfilling the bath. Lounge chairs getting scruffy

An excellent cruise - Astoria was a perfict ship for the short break to Rouen. Cabin was very comfortable, staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. Would certainly look at another route with them.

We went on a lovely little first time cruise along the french river Seine to Rouen and back and l can't tell you how lovely and what a wonderful time we had! The staff were very friendly, the service was excellent and the food was very nice too, offering a good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also had a nice selection of shore excursions to choose from and we opted to go on the guided tour around Rouen which was very nice and interesting. Only problem I can think of is that the wifi on the ship wasn't working and we couldn't seem to get any signal on our phones unfortunately, however apart from that l would definitely recommend this to other people and go cruising again!
