'The Eternal City' from unforgettable historical sights to exclusive designer shops, Rome really does have it all. Ensure you throw a coin into the Trevi fountain to make certain you'll return.
12 Naples
Naples
Cruising into the Bay of Naples is a memorable experience. The Naples port is overlooked by the imposing Sant Elmo medieval castle, high up on Vemero Hill, as well as the 13th century Castel Nuovo, which is right next to the Naples cruise terminal in the heart of the city. Within a short walk, to the left of the terminal, are three of Naples best-known landmarks: Castel Nuovo, the 17th century Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale), and the elaborate 18th century San Carlo Opera House. To reach Naples’ fascinating old town, go straight past Castel Nuovo and then over the Piazza Municipio.
13 At Sea
14 Palma, Majorca
Palma, Majorca
Whether it’s lazing on one of the beaches, people watching from a cafe terrace or the fascinating old city that interests you, Palma has it all.
15 Ibiza Town, Ibiza
Ibiza Town, Ibiza
Ibiza rocks to a late-night dance beat, but when the sun rises, it draws sleepy sun-worshippers out to the island’s beach scene. Twisty streets in Dalt Vila (High Town) lead up to the 14th-century cathedral for views of the city and the blue Mediterranean beyond.
16 At Sea
17 Gibraltar

In Gibraltar, take advantage of the incredible views from Europa Point and visit the underground chambers of St Michael's cave- watch out for the Barbary Apes though!

Unfortunately our cruise was spoilt because norovirus was on the ship and we found it a constant worry the whole two weeks. It ruined the cruise. Not sure we would sail with P&O again, very disappointed.

Excellent ship, friendly staff, good food, and excellent entertainment. Cabin was very good and kept clean by staff.

Rating five as we thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and we liked the amount of time that we spent at each destination point. We enjoyed the freedom dining, the food was very good,  and the drinks prices were reasonable. The drinks package price was exorbitant and the cost of the excursions was also exorbitant. The cabin was relatively spacious but the decor was a little tired. The cabin steward was excellent, and the crew was spectacularly well turned out, well mannered and helpful.
