Boarding process was very efficient & quick, couldn’t fault it. Cabin was nice with lots of storage, and the housekeeping team were friendly and kept the cabin spotless. The buffet restaurant was usually crowded and sometimes we couldn’t find a seat, but the Buckingham restaurant provided a good service. The food was excellent throughout. Drinks service in the bars & lounges were unpredictable, often being really slow due to the high demand, in contrast to the good service in the restaurant. Entertainment was ok, but again often difficult to get a seat. As always, the standard varied from pretty poor, to excellent. But the staff tried hard. The tours were very informative and offered a snapshot of each city. Some people we talked to said other cruise lines were better, so maybe we were just unlucky. Overall there seemed to be too many people for the size of the ship.

Had a fantastic time with four of our friends. Have sailed with Ambience before and about to sail again in two weeks time. Could not fault a thing!

We were a group of 11 and had a great time on our first cruise. Although, we did find it difficult at times to find areas to sit in and accommodate us all together. We did ask if a table could be reserved for us as we were struggling but they refused. We also found that the days at sea lacked entertainment to keep us occupied and when we did try to get into events they were too full already. Luckily we made our own fun. We found the service of drinks in bars slow sometimes taking up to 25 minutes for them to come. There was always a confusion of whether to sit and wait for service or to go to the bar as we always got mixed messages in what to do by bar stafff. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the Market Borough was not always great and we would struggle to find somewhere to sit as it was so busy even just as a 2. The food and service in the Buckingham was wonderful and are waiters were amazing. Clint was just the best always helpful, cheerful and nothing was too much of a hassle for him. The rooms were clean and tidy and the cleaning staff did a great job making beds and putting out fresh towels. IMy husband and I treated ourselves to a massage each which we both thought were great but slightly overpriced but you expect that on a ship I suppose. I would definitely try another cruise maybe in the warmer weather to keep us more occupied with swimming and soaking up the sun.
