An excellent cruise on Ambience. The food was good- catering to British tastes. The cabin was spacious and serviced so well. The service on board was faultless. The only blip was heavy seas going into Tromso leading to a rapid turnaround of the ship in the middle of the night to avoid going too close to the rocks leading us to approach Tromso through another channel.

Great holiday. Wonderful service, brilliant crew, amazing West End style shows and show team. Acting vignettes and plays onboard are a real bonus. Restaurants and bars great too; far too easy to over indulge!

Lovely ship. Reasonable size. Lovely crew all grades. Food fantastic, entertainment also fantastic. Really enjoyable cruise all around. Would definitely travel on Ambience again.

On the whole wonderful cruise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Organization with regards to trips were very good and went smoothly, but not long enough on stops as sometimes only 20 minutes then we were hurried back to the coach. The food which is normally a good part of a cruise, wasn't always particularly good, with meat and even the chicken was tough, Fish was plentiful with some names I have never heard off. although the food was beautifully presented. Staff were always willing to change the food, but we were aware that as we were on first sitting, we didn't always have much time and were sometimes hurried on with the last course of coffee! Although we asked when booking which sitting we would like and asked for 1st sitting, when we entered the dining room we were told we were on 2nd sitting! we were not happy so were told that we had to queue 15 minutes before first sitting to see if there was room for us. We did this the first 3 nights and then we got a nice table with other solo Travellers and made friends. The cabin was comfortable with plenty of drawers. The cabin staff were excellent and were cleaned every day. The entertainment was excellent and loved the plays and talks were good, with maybe one exception that made me doze off. The ship Ambience was lovely and I would recommend to anyone to sail on her.

Relaxing cruise with friendly and helpful staff. The ports of call were interesting and easy to walk to. We enjoyed the variety of entertainment and activities available, the food was delicious along with good wines. The cabin was spacious for a cruise ship and the shower was large.

Excellent staff, great food, top notch entertainment, great ship all round. Good value for money, excursions reasonably priced.

Had a great cruise every thing was good interesting ports of everybody was really friendly food was okay good variety the show’s were great the best of any cruise I have been on before easy embarkation and disembarkation car right outside the terminal. The only fault was the Ambience is a bit tired and could do with a refurbishment but overall I would certainly recommend Ambassador cruise lines. . Ron Pullen.
