Summary:  I just came back from a wonderful cruise on QM2 sailing from Cape Town to Southampton. Our package included 2 nights in Cape Town before the cruise. And what 2 days they were. Our hotel was a stone's throw away from the harbour in the famous Waterfront area. Great views and dining options. You must try great steaks and seafood at Balthazars. Amazing value for money. Table Mountain was a highlight. Book your cable car online which will save you some money and you will avoid the queues. Once on top look out for dassies, funny creatures only found in the Cape!
