Day Port Due Depart
1 Fly from the UK
1-2 Haifa - Overnight onboard
Haifa - Overnight onboard
There's a popular Israeli saying: "Haifa works, Jerusalem prays and Tel Aviv plays." This is not strictly fair to Haifa, the country's third-largest city. While it's home to Israel's biggest and busiest port and has an undeniably bustling, business-like air, there's also a real resort feel about the place. The centre sprawls over the steep, lush face of Mount Carmel; the waterfront is lined with wide, sandy beaches; and the restaurants are famous throughout Israel.
3 Ashdod
Ashdod
Ashdod is the fifth-largest city in Israel, located in the Southern District of the country, on the Mediterranean coast, located 32 kilometres (20 mi) south of Tel Aviv and 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Ashkelon and 53 kilometres (33 mi) west of Jerusalem. Ashdod is an important regional industrial center. The Port of Ashdod is Israel's largest port accounting for 60% of the country's imported goods.
4 Paphos
5 Alanya
6 Marmaris
Marmaris
Marmaris is located on the world’s largest natural harbour, where the Aegean and Mediterranean seas meet. Its name is taken from the Greek word meaning glittering and shining and, as you watch the yachts bobbing in the shimmering seas alongside, you will understand why.
7 Bodrum
Bodrum
With a warm climate and even warmer hospitality, Bodrum is not to be missed.
8 Chania, Crete
Chania, Crete
The old town of Chania is really worth a visit, as it is beautifully kept. I have a few favourite places we always visit when we are there. One of them is a cooperative for Cretan artist, where they have thousands of paintings at more than resonable prices (the price is usually €100, or can be "negotiated" to that price). It is situated in a small basement of a stone house in a back alley in the old town. There are also a couple of really nice restaurants, in buldings dating back to the 17th century with a ton of history. One of them (Tamarind) is in a old Turkish Bath house, and really worth a visit.
9 Athens (Piraeus)
Athens (Piraeus)
Athens offers a blend of traditional Greek culture and modern hustle and bustle. The Acropolis and Parthenon are not to be missed.
10 Ephesus (Kusadasi)
Ephesus (Kusadasi)
Visit the Hellenistic and Roman city of Ephesus, founded in the 13th century BC. The site was first excavated in 1869 by British archaeologist, J T Wood and visitors can now see many of the Roman remains. One of the attractions of Ephesus is the fact that so much of it remains intact and little imagination is required to picture what the Roman city would have looked like.

One of the most spectacular cruise destinations, Istanbul has dozens of sights to see, somewhere you will never forget.

Really pleased with our holiday, outstanding. The Ship,Staff,Food were all excellent. Our arranged flights could have been better, having to take two flights to get to port of departure was bearable, but the two flights to get home from Barcelona was far too long so we organised our own flight back to Manchester which got us home 5 hours quicker.

We have booked with Oceania 3 times now, twice on the Sirena. Why we like this cruise line is the 5 star service, with no gimmicks like your photo being taken at every port, no hard selling of drinks and no black tie evenings. The dress code for the restaurants for dinner is smart casual no shorts or tracks suits allowed. We were quite surprised the 2 star review for the Sirena. The beds are extremely comfortable, food choice is excellent and although were not old and go to bed early people we like the fact the entertainment is not Las Vegas. Oceania offer a smart but relaxed atmosphere

Small ship cruising, very limited on entertainment. We didn't find they lived up to their 6star food claims. Buffet had limited choices, no ice cream after 4pm by swimming pool! MDR service was slow if on tab!es of more than 2 people, Food and service in Red Ginger was excellent, but not as good in Tuscan. Nice crew, nice passengers. Cabins ok, bed lovely. Itinerary was good. For us we would not go on this ship/line again, but I know some like the smaller ships and go to bed early so the poor entertainment is not an issue. Singles might like as they have a get together early on in the cruise. There were no cruise days so we could be out and about most of the time, which was the best thing about this cruise for us.
