Summary:  Everything on the Thomson dream cruise around the carribean was great ,enjoyed the food, loved the entertainment especially Joe,who worked tirelessly to make sure we all enjoyed are holiday, even when he wasn't working he remained professional always smiling, his game show was very funny, and had all the guests involved, the shows in the Broadway lounge where excellent loved them all all the staff were friendly and helpful however gavin the cruise director thought he was chubby brown one evening and upset most of the female guests with his jokes about women, he did try to redeem himself at the end of his performance not sure it worked with all of us though just glad he didn't single everyone out not sure whether that's the way forward although a lot of the male guests did laugh well one maybe !! Would we book again on this ship? yep probably but for us gavin did upset a lot of the women even though he made out at the end of his performance he didn't mean anything by his sexist jokes I beg to differ and wasn't that impressed by his demeanor hopefully he will rethink his act he's lucky the women he singled out all in the name of fun !!! Didn't give him a dig or two .

Summary:  Feedback from Thomson Dream – Cruise Ship – 31st January – 14th February 2017 Overall we had a fantastic holiday and I would like to give feedback about the whole experience on the Thomson Dream and highlight both the positives and the negatives. The positives outweighed the negatives by far. Positive Feedback – absolutely loved the cruise, although my personal preference was for the other side of the Caribbean starting in Barbados. Very glad we did it and thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent entertainment team - team worked very hard, they had great sense of humour and always made us laugh. Main team members I remember were Rusty, Gavin, Joe, Ashley and cannot remember the others, but they were all great and provided a great range of entertainment throughout the fortnight. Game shows were great, especially The Perfect Couple which was hosted by Gavin and Rusty. Broadway Shows – I did not watch all of them but those which I did watch were fantastic and the costumes were amazing. Cabin – clean roomy cabin with Hugo as our housekeeping attendant. Very friendly and he did a great job throughout the fortnight we were there. F&B Service – nice friendly service and again the team overall worked very hard throughout all outlets and bars. The main outlets we used were Medusa and Tides Bar and Orion’s Restaurant in the evenings and Main Pool Bar and Sirens Restaurant during the day. Food – great range of meal options provided and something for everyone. Breakfasts were fantastic. We had one meal in the Kora-la Restaurant which was lovely. Very hot and spicy and not to everyone’s taste but I thoroughly enjoyed what I had. Excursions – some good excursions on offer and enjoyed them overall. However one of them I went on was a very big disappointment and frankly a rip off, which I would not recommend it to anyone. Negative Feedback – this mostly focused around the upselling of packages, restaurants and the all-inclusive supplements on the all-inclusive package which is a sign of Thomson’s getting too greedy!! All Inclusive Supplements – since the last cruise I did with Thomson on the Barbados side, a lot of drinks now have a supplement to be paid even for those who have paid for all inclusive. The price for All Inclusive Premium is extortionate to say the least and rather ridiculous when already paid an all-inclusive supplement. It is of course understandable for drinks such as Cognac and Premium whiskies but not for cocktails such as Mojitoes. The only items which had a supplement previously were items such as Cognac and Premium whiskies. The quality of the cocktails had also deteriorated since our last cruise. Upselling of Restaurants and Packages such as Wine Packages, AI Premium, etc – this got very annoying especially when staff were walking through the pool decks giving several daily reminders about the Speciality Restaurants onboard the ship and were reminded with every daily announcement about the Speciality Restaurants. Guests all know that the restaurants are there, we can all read and we do not need daily reminders about them. Not blaming the staff trying to do the upselling as they are obviously only doing as they are told by Thomson Dream Management. Sales of Sangria and Magnum Type Ice Creams – again on the pool deck we had girls coming around repeating “ Sangrai Ladies and Gentlemen, Nice and Refreshing, Sangria, Nice and Refreshing – Talk to me People – Talk to me People” and they were repeating again and again like parrots. Again this is VERY annoying and I did comment to the girl that when nobody talks to her it mean they do NOT want it. Nobody likes a pushy sales person and guests do not like people trying to force sell things on them. Again - not blaming the staff trying to do the upselling as they are obviously only doing as they are told by Thomson Dream Management. Caribbean Experience, Costa Rica – I booked an excursion through Thomson at all ports with the exception of Grand Caymen. All other excursions booked were enjoyable and good value for money, except for Caribbean Experience in Costa Rica. The literature for Caribbean Experience, Costa Rica, by Thomson stated it would last approximately 7 hours – it lasted exactly 5 hours on the day we did it ( I also put this in writing on the ship as every time I went to see someone in Destination Services the queue was either very long or nobody was there and this has never been answered ). There was very limited time in Puerto Viejo – we were only given 20 minutes which was no sufficient to look around. At the 2nd place Cahuita – we were told by Destination Services to make sure we took swimming costumes, but there were no swimming opportunities. After a visit to National Park and then a lunch stop at some bar, we were taken back to the ship. Again insufficient time to actually look around the village. Impression was that the tour guide wanted to go home early and brought us back to the ship early. This trip was extremely disappointing and very expensive for what it was. Stephanie Robertson

Summary:  We have just returned from our second cruise on the dream and once again it was fabulous. Staff are respectful and courteous at all times and very clean and smart. The food was excellent and as always there was plenty to choose from. The cabin was very clean with towels and bedding changed as needed. This ship is very homely and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We find that everything is organised for you as regards trips etc and this takes away all stress. The entertainment is of a very high standard with professional performers, its not like in some cheap and tacky bar where the performer cant sing for toffee. On our last night they did a tribute to the late Michael Jackson it was so moving and respectful it made me cry. We love cruising now and cant wait for the next one. We visited croata Venice, Dubrovnik, Montenegro, Slovenia and Corfu. This cruise was the Adriatic Explorer. Only down side was that i was robbed of seventy euros in Budva Montenegro so be very careful as they have a problem at the moment.

Summary:  When we joined this ship on 6 May we were excited to do another cruise on the Dream - we'd been on this ship last Oct and loved it. We were not disappointed and had a fabulous week. We had a spacious outside cabin on deck 7 which is just one deck up from the Orion restaurant where we ate in the evenings. The food was excellent and waiters smart, cheerful and quick to serve. We ate breakfast and lunch in the Sirens restaurant on deck 11 which we preferred to the Lido as the queues were shorter! We looked forward every evening to the entertainment which was first class, and included a comedian who was hilarious. Also some members of the crew performed on one evening and that brought surprises. The ship has had some upgrading since we were on it last Oct and we were impressed, especially with the Water's Edge lounge and bar and casino. As we'd done a cruise to Greece and Turkey before we didn't go on the organised excursions which we do find a bit expensive. We can't wait to return to the Dream!

Summary:  Just returned from Atlantic Adventure on Thomson Dream. The ship is very dated and needs a good amount of money spending on it -no finesse whatsoever. We chose an inside cabin to keep down the cost and it was fine - why do you need a window when you are out of your cabin most of the day. Cabin kept spotlessly clean by Jaimie our steward. We had the drinks package - what a let down. We were convinced right from day one that the drinks were either watered down or not premium quality - how many people can drink 7 Black Russian cocktails and not feel the slightest bit tipsy. This was confirmed later in the cruise when another passenger saw a barman pouring cheap vodka into a Smirnoff bottle and Spanish gin and brandy into 'premium' bottles. We were told part way through the cruise that John Smiths bitter had run out, but we discovered that if you did not have the drinks package they could 'find some' This was reported.. Sprite and Coke bottles were filled from the bar dispenser. One day when I asked for Sprite, the waiter kept saying 'it s lemonade' The self service restaurants were not great - the only two things guaranteed to be hot every day were porridge and soup. The meals resembled school dinners and were often cold or slightly warm. The salad bar was very predictable. The Orion waiter service restaurant was the best place to eat, wonderful waiters and the food was HOT, just try and avoid sitting at one of the big round tables as you have to wait for everyone to finish their courses before you can move on to the next. Entertainment was excellent. Why are people allowed to put towels on sunbeds at 6.30am and then go onshore for the day and towels still there whe n they get back. Our itinerary was very disappointing as they removed two of the original destinations and only replaced one. All in all, we would not use this ship again - as o ne person said it should be re-named Thomson Nightmare

Summary:  Our first Cruise... Wow fabulous.... Never quite know what to expect of a first of anything, but we were very happy all round. The waiters were all so very friendly. The ship was immaculate. We had an Inside Cabin, but I would have an Outside Cabin next time. Idon't drink, but understand the drink packages are very good value... Would definitely do the Thomson Dream again!

Summary:  I returned home on the 15 August 2015 from a 2 week cruise and stay. The first week was spent in Alcudia at the delfin azul 1st class hotel that was recently refurbished. The staff were excellent. On week 2, the Thomson Dream crew could not do enough for us. The evening meals were 4 star, also bufett meals were very good and entertainment around the bars could not be better. I did two bike rides, one into Nice and one to Toulon, both had beach stops the two guides were great and really knew how to put on a tour. We enjoyed our cruise trip so much we are already looking to going again in october.
