It was my first ever cruise and I LOVED IT.... I would recommend it to anyone, the staff were FAB couldn't do enough for you. Plenty of good food and choices. Cabin was a little small for a family of 4 but we managed. The night time entertainment was brilliant, can't wait to go again.

My first Cruise and was worried as to what I would find. The cabin was far better than expected, much more room but the shower curtain seemed to want me as it wrapped around me with a vengeance. Food was excellent in the Seven Seas, far better than a number of 5* restaurants I have been to all over the world. The entertainment was superb and the dancers in the Can Can, nine and a half minutes was better than Paris in the Moulin Rouge. In all a very enjoyable time was spent with my friends. I will be doing another cruise with you as soon as I can. (The All in Inclusive was great value.) Thank you.

We have sailed on this ship twice before (away again shortly on it as the Destiny) when it was the Sunbird & also on the Seawing its sister ship as well as on the Costa Serena. The Serena was massive & beautiful and I don't think we managed to actually get to explore all of it! It was glitzy and while being essentially an Italian ship food & entertainment wise-yes we would recommend it and would sail on her again more than happily. It was non stop entertainment & when we were exhausted with all the pizzazz we would happily sit & watch the traditional Italian pass-time of "evening parading" over a glass of wine or coffee. It was definitely an Italian experience holiday around Italy, while taking our Italian hotel with us-perfect for us as it was what we wanted. The surroundings were very glitzy & we had the largest cabin we have had to date ever with a very comfy king sized bed, large square window, large sofa & coffee table, armchairs large tele, decent sized shower room & lovely pictures on the cabin walls, all for the same price as a UK cruise line lower deck much smaller cabin, I have to say-pure luxury really by comparison. The Seawing was a cosy small, traditional feeling cruise ship then owned by Airtours & very similar to Destiny (then Sunbird) only smaller. But never the less lovely & full of personality with lovely crew. The Destiny we adore. She's certainly not the largest ship nor the most glamorous by any means, but there's just something about her. Maybe it's her wooden decks or the excellent nightly entertainment (which we have found truly is hard to match) I even adore the hair salon-they always make me feel a million dollars on gala/cocktail nights, don't know quite what it is & I’m sure she must be a bit different now to when we last sailed on her over 10 years ago, but again & again I keep reading the same similar reviews:-excellent value for money, wonderful ambience, fantastic crew/shows etc etc. Maybe it is the crew, after all surely a cruise ship is the sum result of its crew? Whatever it is Destiny does seem to be a regular cruisers favourite. We are certainly looking forwards to her with confidence. We know after all that the food will be good as will the entertainment, and that the ships layout will be the same as before so it will be like greeting an old friend. I have also found on youtube vids of her by typing into the box Thomson Destiny vid, which was brilliant to watch & brought it all back. Sail on Destiny xx

Went on this ship in March, it did not disappoint us, ok its not as glamorous and as big as some of the large cruise ships, but really nice and well kept inside and out, the food was good and entertainment was excellent and staff really helpful. They do not rip you off like some of the cruise lines on drinks. Some of our friends went on a Costa cruise and Royal Caribbean and were charged six fifty for a small wine and four fifty for a pint. And loyalty fee of six pound a day each. Not on Thomsons.. Drinks were about the same as pub prices and you tip as you please. Well done Thomson. We have booked to go on Thomson destiny on 16th June as this cruise is really cheap if you look on line, and some cruise people told us we will not be disappointed on Thomson destiny. Derek Ann. What a brilliant time we had. Fun ship, great entertainment and friendly staff. First time we have been away for Christmas and New Year, met in with Welsh contingents "party animals" SO MUCH FUN!! Congratulations to all the staff onboard The Destiny, you all work Soooooo hard!

This was our first cruise and was really happy to have chosen this ship. It was absolutely fantastic. I have nothing whatsoever to complain about but if i needed one then i'll go for the pickled onions weren't pickled! The ship was lovely, the staff amazing, the food absolutely superb and the service was 100% all round. The entertainment was like shows from London! Very talented staff all round. Even the Captain had a lovely sense of humour and sang to us! I would totally recommend this ship to all. No matter what age, this ship delivers and caters for every need. I will be definitely booking with Thomson again but maybe not this ship. The cruise was fantastic, I really enjoyed it. But the waiters were almost asleep while serving food! Jo from the kids club was great and funny. The captain was a lovely man and he was really nice. It was a fantastic cruise and I would definitely go again

My cruise holiday onboard the Thomson Destiny was fabulous. I would recommend Thomson Cruises to all of my family and friends. I will only ever go on a cruise with Thomson because they are a fantastic cruise line. The onboard entertainment was like it came straight out the West End – wonderful! I advise anyone and everyone to go on a Thomson cruise holiday. I have been on each of the Thomson ships and they are all great."
