George Washington House

Chamberlain Bridge

DAY 2
The capital of St. Lucia, Castries is known for its picturesque beaches, bustling markets and historical landmarks. A popular cruise destination, it’s built on a peninsula that’s surrounded by the Caribbean sea. Whilst in Castries, make sure to visit the Castries Central Market, Rodney Bay and Marigot Bay.

Central Market
The largest open air market in the city, the Castries Central Market has over 300 different stalls, selling everything from trinkets to fresh fruit. Set up in 1891, this vibrant market is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat or something to take home.
Rodney Bay
Alternatively, head to the picturesque Rodney Bay. Located in the Gros Islet District, this pretty bay is a wonderful place to unwind whilst sipping a cocktail or enjoying a swim in the nearby turquoise waters.
Marigot Bay

The largest island in the Grenadines, Bequia, which translates to 'island of the clouds' is a breathtaking destination with a handful of attractions to explore, including Princess Margaret Beach, the Bequia Heritage Museum and the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary which is in easy reach of the island.

The capital of Bonaire, a Dutch island in the Caribbean Sea, Kralendijk has an array of attractions on its doorstep, including the Kaya Grandi retail strip which is dotted with colourful buildings, the fascinating Bonaire Museum and the picturesque Bonaire National Marine Park. A popular stop off for cruise ships, you’ll discover a whole host of amenities to suit all budgets and preferences.

Lac Bay
On the southern shore of Bonaire, lies a tiny lagoon called Lac lagoon. Featuring a bordering reef and around 100 acres of mangroves, as well as a tiny fishing boat port, this picturesque bay is a must visit whilst in Bonaire. Sea turtles also visit its seagrass beds, along with other tropical wildlife.
Terramar Museum

Palm Beach is a popular destination with visitors due to its beach resort boasting a bird sanctuary, butterfly farm and old Dutch windmill. Take a trip up to the top of the observation tower for great views out over this wetlands nature reserve. Here, you’ll find up to eighty different species of migratory birds, from herons and pelicans to cormorants and falcons.
Grand Turk

Margaritaville is ideal for those wanting to socialise with plenty of bars and beaches, pools and amusements. Otherwise head over to the beach where you can relax on the warm, pristine sands and snorkel in the nearby reefs. For those wanting to venture further out from the cruise port, head to the Turks and Caicos National Museum to learn all about this gorgeous island, just a short taxi ride away along the west coast.

Turks and Caicos National Museum
This museum holds exhibitions telling the story of the island from the historic Lucayan Culture up to the present day. A highlight has to be the Molasses Reef shipwreck from 1505, the oldest recorded shipwreck in the New World.
Pillory Beach

Situated on the coastline, the Key West Lighthouse dates back to 1848. Originally home to a lighthouse keeper, the 65 foot tower is a picturesque landmark in the city that features 15 lamps, alongside 15 inch reflectors.

Comprising 7 picturesque islands, alongside colourful coral reefs and the 19th century Fort Jefferson, Dry Tortugas National Park is a must when visiting the city. Hemingway Museum

Fort Lauderdale

As well as being one of the top global ports to start and finish your cruise, Fort Lauderdale has plenty to do either side of your ocean adventure. Why not take a trip to the Flamingo Gardens Wildlife Sanctuary, peruse some culture at the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District, or take a boat tour through the everglades and waterways as well as passing impressive Millionaires’ Row.

Flamingo Gardens Wildlife Sanctuary
This non-profit park area is the place to go for some tranquil downtime as you explore the serene waterfalls and pools that are home to brightly plumed flamingos. The gardens are also home to rescued wildlife such as other birds and reptiles as well as boasting some giant tree species.
Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District
Covering a 22-block area, this exciting part of downtown offers plenty to see and do from Garand Opera House, History Center, Art Museum and plenty of dining options and evening entertainment just a short distance from the cruise terminals.
Bonnet House Museum
A beautiful and historic house in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Bonnet House is included on the American National Register of Historic Places. It was built by prominent artist Frederic Clay Bartlett and has picturesque architecture and a botanical garden.
