Princess Cruises have announced that their next generation cruise ship, Royal Princess will debut in spring 2013.
The stunning, new 141,000 tonne ship will carry 3,600 passengers and will boast balconies on 80% of her cabins, with all outside cabins benefitting from the much sought after outside space. At 260,000 square feet of public space the Royal Princess will offer an enviable feeling of space onboard and public areas such as the signature Piazza atrium will benefit from expansions.
Up on deck the adult-only pool will be surrounded by seven plush, private cabanas, that appear to float on water, while The Sanctuary will benefit from increased size and expanded facilities, offering a truly relaxing adult-only escape.
As always the Movies Under The Stars will boast a mid-ship location and offer HD viewing. There will also be two pools on either flank of a tropical island, that doubles as a dance club at night. The Royal Princess will also boast the new SeaWalkTM, where guests can experience similar views to the bridge on an enclosed, glass bottomed walkway that extends 28ft from the ships edge, 128ft above the ocean.
The latest incarnation of the Royal Princess, the third ship to bare the name, will follow in the tradition set by the original 1984 ship and offer an innovational, next generation ship. Princess Cruises are calling the Royal Princess a next generation ship that pays tribute to the rest of the Princess fleet.

Royal Princess will continue in the tradition of Princess Cruises ships and offer a superb selection of dining. From traditional fixed dining to Anytime dining in the ship's main restaurants to the cruise line's signature venues, Sabatini's Italian Trattoria and Sterling Steakhouse.

The Royal Princess will boast the largest of the line's signature adult-only escapes, The Sanctuary, and is expected to offer the renowend adult-only Lotus Spa.
