This was our first cruise and we loved every minute. The crew were very friendly from the moment our bags were taken from us before check-in, which was well organised but rather slow. The cabin was great and we had a bottle of bubbly wating for us when we got there. We had paid extra for a balcony which was well worth it as we could see the Norwegian Fjords before we had even got showered and dressed. The food was great with a good choice of menus every day. The entertainment was good with something to do most of the day and evening. Our only criticism was that the itinery for the evening balls with dress codes was changed from the one that was online and sent out to us with the information before we boarded. It was diasppointing as the changes were not well advertised. The masquerade ball was nearly cancelled when guests had clearly made an event to join in. A Ladies Day at the races was introduced without prior notice so no-one had the appropriate dresses and hats. The events co-ordinator did not seem to understand the effect of the changes. Apart from that we had a really great time and are looking froward to planning our next cruise.

"Never again" are words no-one wants to use to describe their holiday. "We'd go again tomorrow" is definitely better, and that's how we felt after our cruise on Queen Mary 2 to the Norwegian Fjiords in July. This was our first cruise holiday, and it was a pleasure. Iglu's travel arrangements and information were first class, and embarkation at Southampton a pleasanter and quicker experience than that endured nowadays at airports. A short review can't do justice to a trip on this ship, but for us on our first cruise, this experience sets a benchmark which will be difficult to surpass. The overall impression was of a well run, smooth organisation, operated by efficient personnel in a spacious, well appointed and comfortable, environment. Accomodation, food, service, entertainment etc. were all more than adequate for us. This ship is not just a cruise ship, it is a liner, and she is elegant, both inside and out. We look forward to travelling on Queen Mary 2 again.

My husband surprised me with this cruise in July, what a surprise! Fantastic ship the food was great so much variety the staff looked after us well, evening entertainment was ok could be improved on some of the shows, but overall not complaining. We did the cruise to Norway the scenery was amazing! A welcome in every port felt very proud of the ship looking at it from the port, lots of things to do onboard too, my husband enjoyed an afternoon with men that served on the old Queen Mary telling many a tale or two! Iglu cruise dealt with our needs very well as my husband had not long had a heart attack our stateroom was allocated near lifts for convenience we would recommend Iglu to deal with all your needs in a cruise.

We have just sailed on the QM2 on a Transatlantic crossing from New York to Southampton. Check in was easy and quick, once onboard we found our cabin which was very elegant with plenty of room. Our cabin steward introduced himself and kept our cabin very clean and tidy. The food on board was top class. Murray Walker was a guest speaker who was very entertaining, funny and knowledgable. On a transatlactic voyage there is plenty to do with lectures and entertainment all the time. The QM2 is our favourite ship and we will be looking for our next crossing in the near future.

We went to the North of Europe on the QM2 and I have to say it was fantastic experience. the ship was a pleasure to sail on and we were never without something to do either on ship or at a port. Really loved the food and the restaurants. The late night snacks were a feast unto themselves and we were always up on deck to have something before retiring. I thought the shows were not as good as I expected but they still were professional and entertaining. I cant wait to go on the QM2 again and will consider a transatlantic on her.

Luxury. Having been fortunate enough to purchase our tickets for £599 including a balcony, flights and transfers from JFK we were slightly sceptical of what we would find. However, everything was first class from beginning to end with the little touches such as the chocolates on the pillow each night to the attentive waiters at dinner. Throughout the ship all the crew were smartly turned out, polite and very helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We did not use room service for food but others who did said it was delivered quickly and hot. All in all a fantastic time and we cannot wait until next summer to go again.

Queen Mary 2, exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the start of my journey I couldn't belive the splenda of this cruise liner. The dining experience is in a class of it own, every meal we had was exceptional. The afternoon tea served in the Queens Room was splendid. From boarding the ship to the end of the hoiliday, nothing was too much trouble for the staff , they really made every passenger feel special. If I had any downfalls its only a slight one, that the entertainment in the theater wasn't to my taste, however it was full of passengers twice every night, so lots of people did enjoy it.

We had an excellent stay on board QM2 from the arrival at the dock, where our luggage was whisked away, to the effiecient boarding procedure and the friendly staff. The only downside was when we actually got onboard and didnt have a clue where to go and were slightly disorientated. However once we had found our cabin we went and explored this fabulous ship. We didnt get the chance to do any of the deck games as the weather when we were at sea was awful on our trip in July to Norway. The food and service were excellent at dinner, the entertainment in the shows didn't suit everyone and we miseed a few nights, but enjoyed sitting in the bar at the front of the ship just watching the world go by and listening to the piano music, fab. Norway was amazing, we didnt book any trips onboard as we found it much cheaper to do our own thing and I did some research in advance at different ports and booked walking trips in port. All in all we would definately return to Cunard.

We left the Brooklyn cruise terminal on a clear autumn afternoon. The view over Manhattan tugged at our heartstrings. The World Trade Center Twin Towers were missing. On we sailed towards the sunrise, unbelievably under the Verrazano Bridge and out into the Atlantic. For the next seven days and nights we were at sea onboard the largest and finest passenger ship afloat. Everything was five star: staff at every level respectful but not obsequious, public spaces from bars to banqueting, lounges to leisure activities and theatres luxurious. We ate excellently, slept better and arrived at Southampton free of jet lag!

The service of all staff related to our cruise on QM2 was superb. From the check in staff, the room steward, the waiters, bar people, etc were all superb. The ship was a joy to sail on and it was a wonderful transatlantic crossing. We would have no hesitation in doing the same trip again or sailing anywhere with Cunard. They really are a first class operation. Every area on the ship was spotless and beautifully presented. The art works were amazing, the shows in the theatre were first class, the musicians who played on the ship were fantastic. Can't think of a single negative over the whole trip.
