Summary: The liner is excellent. Food is too good and there is plenty of entertainment. One area that requires some attention is the onshore tours, too much talking by the tour guides about details the majority are not interested in, ie on one wine tour she talked non stop for over 30 minutes in the bus then at the winery we had to endure another 30 minutes about the history of the vineyard. The organisation of the trip by Iglu was excellent all went to plan and was seamless in operation, Hermes 3 star hotel in Athens was as described small but very clean and staff very friendly, also central to tourist sites.

Would highly recommend Iglu and Queen Elizabeth to friends and others

Summary: We have just completed our first Cunard cruise on Queen Elizabeth. We flew out to Venice and went to 9 countries in the Eastern and Central Mediterranean. Returned via Rome after a 2 week cruise. The ship had a major refit in 2013 which seemed strange after all it was only built in 2010.

However the makeover was really impressive with all new carpets through out, Cabins/Staterooms all had new mattresses and brand new Samsung 46 inch T.V . The food both in the buffet Lido Restaurant and the Britannia evening dining was superb with good choices to suit all tastes. The excursions were varied for all 9 stop overs, but found many of them overpriced. We like so many others also did our own tour of the country city stopovers.

We found the prices charged in US dollars over priced i.e. beers $5.95 with a ridiculous 15% service charge also added-WHY!!! The onboard entertainment was varied and good. The Royal Court Theatre had a magnificent décor with a real feel of the London West end about it. We are now Cunard fans and like so many other cruise passengers who have done many cruises with Cunard before we are now 'sold' on cruising with Cunard again.
