Summary: This was our first fly cruise so we gave ourselves a few days at the beginning. We flew from Gatwick to Vienna and had a few days there, then took a rail journey to Venice to join our ship. Check in was as good as at Southampton, from hotel to being on the ship in under an hour. The ship is almost identical to Queen Victoria, our cabin had plenty of wardrobes and drawers to unload our cases.

The food in the resturant had a good choice, my husband a fussy eater always found something he would eat. Our waiters were excellent and always remembered our likes and dislikes. On not being able to get into Rhodes Harbour, due to strong winds and no large tugs being available, within the hour the captain informed us we we stop at Marmaris. They even arranged a shore excursion for those that wanted it.

Evening entertainment was very similar to last years cruise, but still very good. Next time would give ourselves a night or two at disembarkation port. Still it was a great holiday.

Summary: We sailed on Queen Elizabeth on an 11 day cruise. It was absolutely fantastic, one of the best we've been on. Didn't want to put this on because everyone will want to go on her, probably making it too popular. The meals were fantastic and the girls loved the entertainment.

We would love to do another cruise on this fantastic ship.
