Found ship hard to find your way round. Entertainment poor in the theatre. No drinks package only wine package and on the wine package you couldn't have rose limited to red or white! Staff in the free dining area poor, in need of training in customer needs. Cabin staff very good and main dining good. Not able to book the sanctuary . Not able to change dining times. Bombarded with a sell sell attitude be it drinks round the bars. 17 restaurant good but not worth the extra 28.00 each.

This was our 2nd cruise on the Azura and standards have dropped considerably. Cleanliness was very poor and staff were nothing short of miserable and rude. P&O had also significantly reduced their fares which I can only assume resulted in the cruise being like a bustling holiday camp. I am not a snob but standards have dropped remarkably and when a holiday is given away cheap to fill seats then standards expected from passengers will lower. Will not be cruising on the Azura again. Have booked a short break on the new Britannia in the hope that Azura's standards have not reached the rest of the fleet.

An excellent holiday regarding food and itinerary. The staff, especially our cabin steward, were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them . The staff must be congratulated in controlling and preventing the spread of the Nora virus (which had been on the ship prior to our arrival ) they did every thing possible to allay this problem . Cleanliness of the ship was good . My only grumble was being on Deck 14 Riviera (mid Ship ) this was below the lido and therefore the noise from moving of sunbeds /chairs /tables was like third world war breaking out, especially early morning and late at night. We did complain about this and eventually towards the end of the cruise was offered a change of cabin, but we felt this was rather late in the holiday to move. My question is if they had other cabins vacant which were away from the noise why put us there in the first place? I am sure we cannot be the only people to have complained about this problem . Riviera Deck definitely is one to avoid - Balcony cabin was a good size and ample storage space, tea & coffee facilities in cabin a bonus. Nevertheless this only put a little dampener on our cruise .

We have just come back from spending Christmas on the Azura round the Caribbean, flying from Manchester to Barbados on a Thompson Dreamliner, it was a really good. On arriving at Manchester airport we went to the P&O desk our cases were checked in & the next time we saw them was outside our cabin & it was the same coming back. On arriving at Barbados we got off the plane went straight on to buses that took us to the ship, on hassle at all, & it was the same coming back. Could not fault the ship at all, where ever you ate the food was all good & as for Christmas it was excellent & we even had presents from P&O which was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend this.

Standards have slipped a bit. We went on the same cruise last year and it was brilliant. This year, only very good. Breakfasts in the Peninsula restaurant are frenetic and the waiters only seem to want rid of you. Hot coffee seems to be at a premium. On the one day we went to breakfast at the opening time (we were on a tour) we waited 45 mins for our main course which we then had to bolt down in order to make the tour on time. We were on freedom dining and the service we received was excellent. Apart for one instance they coped with a food allergy extremely well. Our cabin steward was excellent and the cabin was what we expected and the bed very comfortable. Tours ashore organised by P & O were very expensive and the description of some of the tours were a little vague. Wifi reception was very spasmodic and expensive as many minutes were lost trying to get on line. The Queens speech due to be broadcast on Christmas Day was never shown and despite many promises the reason for this lapse was never advised. Overall, although there were some negatives, these were outwieighed by the many positives and we had a very good cruise. It would only take a small effort in attention to detail to convert this back to brilliant.

The ship is beautiful, it took me a couple of days to know where I was going and which is the best/quickest route to reach where I wanted to be!  All staff were fantastic, food in the restaurants was good, however the buffet style restaurant food was average, understanding that it caters for about 3000 passengers it is expected to be somehow in the middle range, but the bread (toast) which was on offer was dry and almost burnt !  Desserts needed to be more of a variety than what was on offer. In general , the food quanteties and range was good, but the quality could be a bit better!  The other thing, is the photos taken by the professional team onboard on various occasions, we did not know that we could go daily and reserve (or add to basket) online via the many PC(s) available in the picture gallery, so when we wanted to buy few of those photos, we did not have the time to "view" all the occasions, or in fact even find any of the pics we wanted. We left without having the opportunity to buy any or get use of the offers available on buying photos. I enjoyed my time, wonderful cruise, we saw many Caribbean islands .

The holiday was very good, but could have been improved in several areas. The flight was superb both coming and going, check-in for flight was excellent. However, whilst the check-in for boarding was also good, we experienced long delays passing through Barbados security. This was particularly disappointing following a long flight added to the fact a high proportion of passengers are OAP. As this is the third cruise on the Azura we knew what to expect and were not let down. Food good, entertainment was excellent particularly The Headliners. The major disappointment was the sailaways which were conducted by absent DJ's. It was in stark contrast to previous Cruises particularly the !st when the Entertainments Director NEIL provided great entertainment The Ship is begining to look very tired especially the carpets in the Cabins. This was our 4th cruise with P&O and we have yet to be upgraded and on this trip we met a couple on their very 1st cruise who had been upgraded to a Suite. I do not know whether this was the work of the Agent or P&O but clearly loyalty is not considered.

Filled in a disability form as advised but it was totally ignored I was informed because we had paid a slightly reduced fare (4 months before cruise) not full price. The cruise similar room was reduced by £800 per couple and I asked for upgrade , none was given when we arrived. Many on the cruise had watched sail away party on you tube and it was nothing like the video. Not the best cruise we have had with other companies but as we were in the Caribbean we still managed to enjoy the experience.
