We had a very good cruise - all as expected. I like listening to lectures onboard and found that aspect a little disappointing this time, timings of various aspects were different to that expected. Overall still a very good cruise.

Joined this transatlantic repositioning cruise with high expectations as we had been on Azura only 5 months ago doing the Eastern Caribbean. The P&O cuts were evident from the start; a very lack lustre welcome, the cabin hadn't been cleaned properly, luggage took 6 hours to get to the cabin, the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, the dinner service was poor and the quality of food in the main restaurant was not good for the first week. The main dining room is missing the maitres d'hotel and the sommeliers have been replaced by normal waiters with tablets which are used for ordering - not at all the personal touch which only a few years ago, P&O was so proud of. The ship is still fantastic though and, on the positive side, she rode the Atlantic well, the Glass House is great, the main performer's and the headliner's shows were magnificent. However, apart from these and the one 'great british sail away', I thought the entertainment was poor considering the number of sea days but they just about got away with it. We got the usual riff raff on board but mostly it was a happy company of passengers and crew which made it a memorable adventure. Happy to say the Captain was very visible and had the balls to put a family off at Ponta Delgada (they had to find their own way home) because one of the party was swinging the lead in Brodies Bar/casino after drinking too much bubbly - news of this did brighten up a lot of conversations on the second sea leg and most people thought that Captain Candy did the right thing! All this said, it was a good cruise but with all their cutbacks I don't think P&O are as good as they think they are any more and after many cruises with them we will start looking more at the quality end of cruise lines such as Celebrity

Fantastic Ship, as husband is disabled I was aprehensive about getting around, it turned out tht there were very few issues with level acess & low ramps in the most. The only issue I have is that the Promenade deck only had one wheelchair automatic door which kept breaking! The cruise was extremely comfortable & all staff were cheerful & friendly. Beds were comfy & I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Restaurants were great & the food mostly delicious but with soo much choice everybody gained a few pounds. The restaurant staff take hygenie very seriously & all diners are required to use the hand wash before entering any food area. Entertainment was varied from cards, dance classes, golf, helth takls & cooking demos, during the day & live entertainments & thetre plays it was hard to decide which o see. Definatley looking forward to being back onboard in the future.

This is a nice ship and staff were excellent. The decor is looking a bit dated, but after our cruise the ship was going to Hamburg for a refit so should be ok in the future.

We have just completed our first Caribbean cruise which we enjoyed tremendously. Only criticism, well two actually! 1. Cabin C 207 ia rather noisy as it seems to be above the Playhouse Theatre, so of course you get the sound travelling upwards during rehersals and performances. 2. We understand that alot of the experienced staff were "poached" (heresay) to staff the Brittania. The service in the dining room was not upto the usual standard, This would not prevent us from travelling on the P & O ships again. Many thanks for the efficient way that you handled our booking.

A very pleasant trip from start to finish, transfers from airport to ship and back were excellent. The ship was wonderful and food very good. I would definitely use P&O again and would have no hesitation in booking through Iglucruise.

Just returned from Caribbean after 2 weeks on Azura. Flew on Dreamliner from Birmingham which was excellent. Really enjoyed the ship. Only criticism was allowing passengers to smoke on deck 15 . The smoke gathers in the covered walkway and is very unpleasant. In my opinion smoking should only be allowed on deck 16 in the open air. The deck toilets also need more frequent cleaning on sea days. Food was excellent. Service excellent. Beds very comfortable. When I started going on PO they used to have a pre dinner show, this is no longer the case. I was on second sitting 8.30 . The meal normally finished at 10.20 only 10 mins to the show. With a full stomach and a late show I slept through every show. It would be lovely to see the return of the pre dinner show.

Overall a great Caribbean cruise on Azura departed on 10th Jan 2015. Food and entertainment were excellent as were the ports of call. On the downside P&O tend to be expensive, particularly the tours. Recommend using the tours available privately when you go ashore. Also the onboard Internet is hideously expensive and slow. Go ashore and get free wifi at Burgerking, KFC or on the beaches where free wifi is often included with sunbed hire. Some of the Azuras decor is beginning to look a bit tired but I believe a refit is due this year. A big bonus for us was a free cabin upgrade which Iglu will request on your behalf.

This was our second Caribbean cruise on Azura in January. P&O seem to be cutting back on staff and quality of food. Azura is a comfortable ship although our balcony cabin on deck 11 was smaller than a balcony cabin on Thomson Celebration. The entertainment wasn't as good as last year, and it was virtually impossible to see a show in the playhouse and then see an artist in manhatton bar due to lack of seats. The weather was excellent but the shore excursions were ridiculously expensive, there were four of us and we paid about a quarter of their price by getting local taxis ,the drivers were usually very friendly and happy to do exactly what you wanted to do. Lastly we were told that to book for next year P&O were going to charge an extra £100 to fly from Manchester!
