Azura is very tired and dated, in particular the Malibar smells like drains most of the time and we were unable to sit in there it was so bad. Some other areas had dirty looking carpets which daily had the door to outside propped open as if they were trying to clean and dry it yet again. The use of masks is inconsistent, you have to wear them in the theatre and in the restaurant until you are seated at the table, however in the buffet there are no masks and everyone uses the same food tongs, presses the same buttons on machines etc. I appreciate this is difficult to avoid but it would perhaps have been better if someone was serving people. Unfortunately we tested positive for Covid the day after we got home. Given we had worn FP2 masks on the planes, coaches and whilst out and about (even outdoors) in Malta, France and Italy I can only assume we picked this up on the ship. Having said that we had a great time overall, the entertainment was good and the cocktails were great. The staff on board were lovely, all very friendly, cheerful and helpful and they could not do enough for you.

The ship was well organised and clean. The buffet food wasn't to the level normal for P & O pre covid. The evening dining in the main dining room was good.

Just a great holiday but the edges were a little off to what it was before lockdown. Hopefully when things get back to normal it will be back to its best

We travelled on P&O Azura round the Med for our honeymoon (first ever cruise). It was wonderful apart from the stress of all the paperwork required beforehand. We and other passengers had lots of questions and when I contacted Iglu they promised to contact us by email with answers once they’d spoken to P&O. We heard nothing and had to contact P&O direct! Even then different passengers were getting different answers! I’d thoroughly recommend cruising though. Just do your research doc don’t necessarily go with the cheapest TA.

Azura is looking a bit tired with strange smells on most decks for much of the time. She has been well used and is showing her age. The Service has been cut back with less waiters etc to attend to your table so longer time for the service given. The entertainment was very average and sometimes just terrible. We feel that with all the cutbacks onboard that she is no longer a four star ship.

Very nice, some things have changed, the waiters have to serve the drinks & while this takes place meal service stops, several evenings we spent 3hrs being served our meal which meant we missed the evening show. It was just nice to be back on board. Thank you iglu cruises.

First time with P & O. Cant fault anything, except when the film, Ghostbusters was on around the pool the sound was deafening. I am certain this volume was not necessary. It cant have been good for the children. Also embarking and disembarking requires further organisation. As both were chaotic. No proper queues were formed in the "tunnel" when embarking, it was a free for all! And when been allocated a coach to return to the airport. The gentleman organising it was doing the best he could under the circumstances..... Different areas of the ship would have been better for the various flights maybe? On the whole though I couldnt fault the holiday. Have booked another one.

We usually go with Cunard and are now platinum members so this was our first trip with P &O. We thought basically you get what you pay for and for the price of the cruise and drinks it was great. A huge saving from Cunard once on board even though we did pay extra for Epicurean, Sindhu and the Glass House. The cabin and ship was a bit tired in places and could do with some refurb. There was no mini bar which was disappointing. The main thing we noticed was the quality of the drinks, draught beer choice was very limited and the bitter was often flat and poured badly so we started avoiding it. The cocktails were very hit and miss too and made badly, there didn’t seem to be any properly trained bar staff to address these problems, however £6.95 for a cocktail is cheap. Problem is some were nearly undrinkable. Just one trained member of staff on each bar would of made all the difference. The food restaurants were fantastic. The ambience of the ship and passengers was lovely. We absolutely loved the open air cinema! The journey from Manchester to Malta was horrendous, queue after queue, the boarding in Malta was chaotic to get cruise cards etc luckily we found a gap to get out because we had checked in online. Took us two days to recover from the journey. But, proof in the pudding is we’ve just booked again with P and O for Spain and Portugal this summer. Going from Southampton this time couldn’t cope with that kind of journey again. The staff were amazingly helpful and kind, outstanding.
