Aurora Reviews
View Cruise DealsThe entertainment was good and we enjoyed it very much. The crew were amazing very polite, chatty, respectful, nothing was a problem. But when it comes to nominating a "STAR" in my opinion its not very fair to single the crew out they are all "STARS" in different ways they never stop running around after people making sure everyone is ok and have everything that they need, although we did favour one lady called Grace who cleaned our mess up in the cabin but she was consistent we saw her every day and she was a gem! Also, the staff in the kitchens work so hard to keep us all well fed and watered the food was second to none, how they cater for so many is mind blowing so we think they all deserve a medal, especially those who have to spend so much time away from their families to take care of others. We would recommend a cruise to everyone an opportunity to visit so many places and make lots of memories.
Good itinerary, helped by excellent weather. Wonderful staff and some very good entertainment on board ship. Restaurant food very good and good choice of bars (even if drinks a bit expensive). But overall a very good cruise, helped by quick (and smooth) embarkation and disembarkation.
Great ship. The Norway cruise was amazing. The shows where brilliant.
We found it a very relaxing and enjoyable way to travel, the choice of food was excellent and the friendliness of staff was excellent. Our room was perfect, can’t wait to go again.
My wife and I enjoyed this excellent cruise on Aurora with P&O. Our cabin was excellent with great service from both cabin and dining room staff. We look forward to finding another cruise in due course.
An excellent cruise on Aurora. We enjoyed every minute. This was our third cruise with P&O, and look forward to finding another cruise in due course.
We found the Aurora very comfortable. We liked the small size and couples only rule. This ship must be very popular with lots of cruisers as many we talked to had been travelling on her for 25+ years and have several cruises in the 'pot'. We also prefer freedom dining and met interesting people every evening over dinner. We did change cabins because E112 was very noisy, the air conditioning was too loud but the next cabin C128 was exactly the same but without the noise! So thanks to P&O for sorting out this problem for us. The entertainment was excellent. We thought the new way of 'buying in' shows and the Headliners acting it out was very clever. The game shows were also 'pinched ' from the TV and were well presented by IT footage and the entertainments team. We love dancing so the Masquerade Lounge was always set up for a dance every night. The bigger longe- Carmens was sadly never used for dancing and we would have loved to dance there. The staff were all very friendly and helpful even though there are no gratuities to pay on P&O - just shows that gratuities are not necessary for good service. Embarkation and disembarkation was faultless. We will be cruising on P&O from now on!
Lovely time, will be back.
A good holiday.
Had a great cruise on the Aurora, service and the crew were excellent and for us a much better experience than our previous cruise. We would recommend the Aurora as the smaller ships offer a more focused service and you get to know the crew.
