A fantastic experience. The perfect cruise.

From the moment we boarded, we were looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and all crew were smiling, pleasant and helpful. There was a variety of restaurants and food choices. Also a variety of entertainment for all. We were very impressed by the way the less able were helped without being patronised.

Excellent cruise ship, very clean, all staff excellent, entertainment on the whole first class. The one downfall was the resident duo pulse who were not the usual standard for a pulse P&O group apart from them a very good cruise all round excellent well done P&O and your hard working staff who were always happy to help. Thanks.

This was a last minute booking for the cruise. We had booked a similar cruise in 2020 before Covid so this was an itinerary we were interested. The price was excellent and it was nice getting excited with only two weeks to departure. Booking was very simple and the website easy to use. The cruise was everything we wanted. Some ports were better than others but all very enjoyable. The ship is lovely. We liked the atrium and the shows were all excellent. Food overall good and certainly plentiful. Will definitely book again for a different itinerary.

Lovely adults only boat well laid out but maybe starting to look a little dated compared to more modern ships. Food choice excellent and entertainment was good and the excursions we did were excellent. The pools were cold considering August should not be that cold and several jacuzzis not working. We used the spa for a massage which was nice but spa was not as posh as others we have visited. Overall was a good cruise a few niggles but good value and drinks are fairly priced on board unless you drink a bucket load each day no need to buy a drinks package tea coffee water freely available and juice in the morning for breakfast all included. A pint £5.40 cocktail circa £7.50 and Prosecco £6.50 a glass so sensible. We stopped at Porto & Lisbon which are outstanding locations to visit.

Staff on Aurora were great.

Great value for money. Inside cabin on Deck 6. Lots of storage, kept clean and fresh. Food was very good. We ate in the restaurant in the evenings, very good service. Breakfast and lunch in the buffet, always lots of choice. Dined in Sindhu and the Beach House twice and both were excellent. Although we understood the ship was nearly full we could always find spaces wherever we wanted to be with no queues. It was useful to have launderettes on board which were free to use, just take your own detergent. We felt there was plenty to do on sea days, the only problem was fitting everything in, although some things were repeated in an afternoon which enabled us to attend. We enjoyed the entertainment, guest Irish group The Four Harps were excellent. The shows put on by The Headliners were full of energy and had many costume changes, we enjoyed them all. We really liked the ambience of the ship and have booked again for later this year. If you are looking for a more traditional style cruise as opposed to the large resort type ships you will not be disappointed with the adults only Aurora.
