Our first time on Arcadia and we enjoyed every minute.

Most enjoyable and lovely to get upgraded to a suite, a lovely surprise and a great cabin, thank you.

Arcadia's in good shape and as always, the ship's company excel at every level. Wonderful itinerary, nice relaxed vibe on board with the USP of P&O undoubtedly being the genuine hospitality of the crew. Well done.

Wonderful 21 day itinerary to Norway, up to the North Cape and Iceland. Arcadia is a smaller ship so easier to orientate and visit areas within the ship. Parking at Southampton is a doddle and stress free. Food was good and a range of entertainers. Cinema film showings were a disappointment with only 2 films worth watching in our opinion with the choice of films being geared more to a younger audience. Impeccable service from waiters and staff collecting used crockery and the cabin steward. Majority of staff are very polite and friendly. We will go again on Arcadia with the right itinerary.

Great time on Arcadia, food was excellent. Service was amazing. Staff are a credit to P&O. One thing I missed was the choir but didn’t realise it existed. Would have liked to do the art classes but the timings were wrong for me. Need to replace table tennis bats and balls as they have had it.

We prefer the smaller and more intimate adult only ships if cruising as a couple rather than as a family. Although Arcadia is not a new ship and tiring in a couple of places (as you would expect) she is one of our favourite ships and we had a fantastic time. The food was good, service was excellent and the staff attentive, friendly and professional. We were able to do as much or as little as we wanted and do enjoy the opportunity to dress up formally on occasions. Ports were as we wanted, the weather was glorious, seas were calm and we made some good friends who we will cruise again with.

A real bargain. Never used Iglu before but your service from beginning to end was impeccable.

This was our first cruise so did not know what to expect. We were impressed with the boarding procedure, we thought we would be waiting in a departure lounge for an hour and a half like at the airport. After 30 minutes we were on board, had visited our cabin and were on deck 9 eating in the buffet. Our cabin was great, we were upgraded from an inside cabins to a window cabin. One thing the cabin does lack is electrical sockets. With all the gadgets people have these days it is something P and O should look at. We were a group of 8 and opted for club dining at 2030 hours, our table was as requested next to window at the stern of the ship, incredible views. Food was restaurant quality and very well presented. It was always served hot. The waiting staff really worked their socks off and could not be faulted. One thing we thought P an O could consider was serving a local dish when visiting a country. We did dine in the buffet restaurant but always struggled to find a table, food again was plentiful and good quality. The entertainment on board was excellent, we saw most of the shows in the Palladium. I did feel the excursions offered by P and O were extremely expensive compared to what you could pay when going ashore, although we did go on one trip organised by P and O, it was well organised. I thought the price of drinks was fair, similar to what you would find at home. The Horizon leaflet was useful but could do with some information further in advance, we did try and ask reception for more information on a few things but found them unable to answer the simplest of question. We thoroughly enjoyed our first ever cruise and no doubt will book again if we can find the right cruise to places we have not already visited. What does make the holiday is the wonderful waiting staff who go about their duties with a permanent smile on their faces.
