2007 is shaping up to be a great year for cruising. The Cruise Lines International Association is forecasting formidable growth in 2007, with over 12 million people due to set sail this year. The UK cruise industry is growing at a similar rate, meaning cruise lines need to constantly innovate and enhance their programmes, which is great news for UK cruisers.
Royal Caribbean will be sailing the superb Navigator of the Seas out of Southampton for 2007, NCL are offering flights from Scotland to the Caribbean and Mediterranean, and 10 new ships will be launched this year including the Carnival Freedom, MSC Orchestra and Cunard's Queen Victoria. All this shows the recent progress of cruising over the last few years.
So here it is, this month's edition of the On-Liner, giving you the latest news from the world of cruise.
