With the current strength of the British pound, it is a great time to cash in on a Caribbean cruise. The American cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, Carnival & Princess all deal in US dollars onboard; therefore your bar tab has suddenly become a whole lot cheaper! For instance, a six dollar margarita now only costs you about three pounds. Excursions also offer huge savings: a helicopter tour over Soufriere Hills Volcano in Antigua is now 15%-20% cheaper than this time last year. You can also learn to scuba dive in St Vincent and go zip-lining or horse riding through the exotic rainforest in Costa Rica for much less than before.
