With the average age of cruisers ever decreasing, family cruises are growing more and more in popularity. However, if you're looking to try a family cruise, you naturally need to choose a ship that's suitable. This month we take a look at Costa Cruises, whose cruises are all free for under 18s when they travel with at least two adults, making them much more affordable.
Elsewhere this month, we focus on more traditional cruises like Transocean Tours, whose Marco Polo offers several excellent winter itineraries including a desirable 32 night Caribbean cruise from Tilbury and an auroric Antarctic break. Meanwhile, Fred. Olsen's elegant Braemar offers an extensive summer run with a great range of Med cruises from the UK.
Ship Review - Thomson Celebration |
| "As promised the ship was very friendly, certainly the friendliest we have been on and we have covered quite a few cruise companies. The captain was also the best we have had on any cruise. He was friendly and approachable and could be seen around the ship, which was nice. The shows were excellent and the quality of films in the cinema was great, in fact I can't recommend the Celebration highly enough." Sue Dickinson |
