What was the last cruise ship you went on & what was it like?

The launch of Ocean Village 2 in Southampton. It was actually quite surprising to see how big the cabins were and how good the food was in particular. The spa was also one of the best I've seen, you could almost spend a week in there alone!

What other cruise ships have you been on?

I was on the Island Star earlier this year, which was an absolute blast. Having Jonglers onboard for next year will mean even more fun! I also spent a week on Celebrity Century last year, which was great as it had just been refurbished so it was like a new ship.

What is your best cruise and why?

Being a sunworshipper, I love the Caribbean cruises. Ocean Village offers some of the most varied itineraries.
If I could choose anything at all, for my next cruise, it would definitely be Alaska with a Rocky Mountaineer tour. I don't think there's anywhere else as stunning in the world.

What would you recommend for a family cruise?

If you have children I would suggest booking early. I've had so many people recently looking for 3/4 berth cabins for this summer, which are extremely scarce. With early booking discounts so strong, I don't think there's any reason not to get next year's cruise booked up now - especially with such low deposits.

What type of experience can you expect on a cruise?

Expect the unexpected!! Seriously, there are so many different excursions available, in so many ports of call, there are things you can do which you wouldn't have thought were possible. I love the idea of horse riding in the surf in the Caribbean.
