Ocean Village - Ocean Village Two

The latest addition to the Ocean Village fleet is the aptly named Ocean Village Two, which contains all of the features of the original Ocean Village ship, plus a few extras that make it even more special. Ocean Village Two weighs approximately 63,524 tons, has 11 passenger decks and was built in 1990.

A relaxed and affordable approach to cruising is offered by Ocean Village, ideal for first time cruises and family cruises. You can be as laid back and dressed down as you like on an Ocean Village cruise, none of the traditional stuffiness of cruises apply here.

There are four places to dine aboard Ocean Village Two. Waterfront restaurant and Plantation restaurant offer buffet style dining, with 24-hour service offered by the latter. The beautifully decorated La Luna deck restaurant and The Bistro offer an evening only waiter service. Food served within the restaurants cater to all tastes and are kept fresh with thier constantly changing menu options. The choice of dining time When you dine and with whom, is entirely up to you. The flexibility of dining styles and choice make it ideal for family cruises enabling parents to cater for young ones at any time.

The 8 bars onboard Ocean Village Two are sure to keep you entertained right through the evening. Whether it's the stand up comedians in Connexions Bar or the lively atmosphere of the Player’s Bar & casino, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Casbah Bar and Balcony Bar offer a slightly more relaxed experience which is ideal for enjoying cosy conversations whilst you take in the sights of Caribbean cruises, Mediterranean cruises or Transatlantic cruises. The Marquee is the main show lounge and is spread over three decks offering modern acts such as live bands, tribute acts, cabaret and shows featuring contemporary circus acrobats.

The Karma Gym on Deck 14 is the place to head for, if you wish to invigorate yourself with a workout in the well equipped gym. Alternatively, you can turn the pace right down, pamper yourself, and indulge in treatments and therapies courtesy of the Karma spa.

At the heart of Ocean Village Two lies The Village Square. Here you’ll find shops, reception and a cyber café allowing you to purchase the latest perfume or check up on emails at your pleasure. Arranged over three decks, Village Square offers the perfect opportunity to shop, surf and unwind until your hearts content.

Family cruises are well catered for onboard and kids are invited to take part in the activities in the Base Camp which is a lounge filled with a range of activities for younger children. Teen Zone and The Attic offer older kids and teenagers the chance to escape their younger siblings as well as mum and dad. Activities include dance workshops, karaoke and the worlds first entertainment village afloat, courtesy of SEGA. SEGA Village comprises a range of arcade and video games that will keep children and teenagers amused for hours on end .
