A new fly-cruise service is set to provide people in Wales with opportunities to enjoy a get-away in the sun next winter.Carnival Cruises
UK will offer new travel options from Cardiff International Airport between November 6th 2009 and April 3rd 2010, Travel Trade Gazette reports.
Included in the new fly-cruise service will be routes to Jamaica and Mexico, as well as the opportunity to link up with popular liners such as Princess Cruises'
Sea Princess and P&O Cruises'
Ventura and Oceana ships.
Giles Hawke, sales director at Carnival UK, told the news provider: "We have great customer demand in the Cardiff area and are keen to provide the best range of departures from the local airport for these customers."
The new service could see more Britons saving up the cash this year for cruise holidays, unperturbed by the current financial climate.
Cruise Lines International Association data released this month supports this trend, as the organisation predicted that 13.5 million people will take a cruise holiday in 2009.
