Tweet your way to a Celebrity Cruise trip

Celebrity Cruises has launched a competition offering an opportunity for a lucky cruise lover to have an exclusive chance to see its new ship Celebrity Eclipse before anyone else.

Open to social media website Twitter users, the competition involves people telling the cruise operator why they should get the opportunity to view the vessel and the best entry will win the chance.

"We're looking for succinct creativity, recognition of the innovations onboard the ship, and to engage with the biggest fans of Celebrity Cruises," announced the company.

"It really is the chance to tweet your way to the trip of a lifetime."

Just 140 characters can be used to communicate on the micro-blogging site so people participating need to choose their words carefully to convey their message.

A new brand platform alongside plans to extend Solstice Class elements to the entire Millennium Class of vessels was recently unveiled by the company as it kicked off its 20th anniversary celebrations.
