Holidaymakers who enjoy exploring cities at their own pace but like to have help on hand just in case are sure to be impressed by a new offer from
Island Cruises.
Island Cruises has announced it is to trial a new and unique shore excursion entitled "Live the City Experience".
Available on
European cruise holidays and
Mediterranean cruises, guests can combine sightseeing and entertainment by following the Live the City destination pack - which includes a guidebook and illustrated route map.
"I am very excited about this new initiative, and am sure this trial will be a success. I believe our guests will really enjoy the mix of sightseeing, discovery, and entertainment offered by the Live the City experience," Ben Green, product development manager at
Island Cruises commented.
Passengers can also take part in onshore treasure hunts, searching for clues to help them correctly answer an interactive quiz on their return to the ship.
This summer,
Island Cruises will be offering a new
Mediterranean cruise itinerary called Mediterranean Splendour.
