As if the prospect of a Silversea world cruise was not enough to keep those planning cruise holidays happy until 2007, the cruise company has now announced a range of exciting overland excursions to complement the cruise.
Silversea's world cruise, which departs on January 17th 2007, takes in six continents, seven seas and three oceans, with passengers arriving in New York more than four months after leaving Fort Lauderdale on the Silver Shadow.
And now, at the 61 different ports that the Silver Shadow visits on the Silversea world cruise, a range of tours will be offered to further enhance the cruise holiday experience.
"Our in-house destination experts have specially designed a selection of overland tours to enhance our guests' world cruise experience," said Joseph Proto, Silversea's director of world cruise and business development.
"These unique programmes blend together the luxury of the world's finest hotels, restaurants, and spas with exciting adventures in must-see destinations to provide our guests with a deeper understanding of the cultures and customs of the lands they are visiting."
Whether guests fancy a rail journey through the Andes to the Inca homeland of Machu Picchu or crossing the Nile to the Valley of the Kings in Egypt, all tastes are catered for by Silversea. An extensive range of shorter excursions from the Silver Shadow will also be offered. © Adfero Ltd
