Silversea Cruises has declared that the only "ultra-luxury" ship sailing in Alaska this summer will be the
Silver Shadow, it has been reported.

Silversea Cruises has described the
Silver Shadow as set to reveal the "natural wonders" of Alaska and the Pacific Coast.
A total of ten itineraries of nine to twelve-day sailings from Vancouver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seward will take place this summer.
"There are a number of mainstream mega-ships calling in Alaska this summer, but only Silversea offers an exclusive alternative for the sophisticated traveller seeking an award-winning, all-inclusive and intimate shipboard experience," commented Marketing Chief Trudy Redfern.
Silversea claims to be an "innovator" in terms of luxury cruising and provides guests with large suites and amenities.
Other vessels in the
Silversea Cruises fleet include the Silver Cloud, Silver Wind and Silver Whisper.
